King's Lynn win the toss and choose gates 1 and 3. Coventry will choose in heat 15.

Heat 01: Bjerre, Harris, Korneliussen, Summers (ret). 4-2 (4-2) 60.53
Line Up: Bjerre, Korneliussen, Harris, Summers
Comments: Mads under Bomber first bend, Harris returned the compliment third bend. Summers slowed at the end of first lap and retired.

Heat 02: Roynon, Bager, Szczepaniak, Howe (ret). 1-5 (5-7) 61.30
Line Up: Howe, Szczepaniak, Roynon, Bager
Comments: Mateusz gated but reared bend two and dropped to the back. Roynon quicker than Bager and passed him entering lap three, although Bager tried his best to shut the door! Howe retired first lap and is being seen by the paramedic, looks like a shoulder injury.

Bit of a delay as the paramedics are with Howe.

Heat 03: Re-run: Larsen, Kennett, Wolbert, Janowski (Fx). 1-5 (6-12) 61.40
Line Up: Janowski, Wolbert, Kennett, Larsen
Comments: Stopped at the end of the second lap. Coventry were on a comfy 5-1 and Janowski in third straightened up on the third bend and went down. Wolbert laid it down quickly but made contact with Magic. Fortunately both are up and ok and walking back to the pits. Race to be re-run without Janowski.
Re-run: Easy peasy for the Bees pair.

Heat 04: Nermark, Roynon, Szczepaniak, Bager. 4-2 (10-14) 61.96
Line Up: Nermark, Szczepaniak, R/R - Roynon, Bager
Comments: Roynon takes the R/R. Roynon nearly round everyone first two bend but Nermark blocked his run entering third bend.

Comments: Brilliant from Bomber. Magic gated but Harris stalked him and swept under leaving bend 3 lap 2.

Heat 06: Kennett, Bjerre, Korneliussen, Roynon. 3-3 (16-20) 61.18
Line Up: Bjerre, Korneliussen, R/R - Kennett, Roynon
Comments: Kennett takes the R/R. Bjerre from the gate but stayed too low third bend and Kennett sailed round him. Mads rounded Roynon almost at the same time. Nice grippy outside line after the early shower. Right up Harris and Kennett's street.

Heat 07: Nermark, Szczepaniak, Larsen, Kennett (ret). 5-1 (21-21) 61.57
Line Up: Nermark, ~~Howe~~ Szczepaniak, Kennett, Larsen
Comments: Szczepaniak replaces Howe. Balls of steel from the Pole to round the Bees second bend and that was that. Kennett never challenged in third and packed up lap three.

Comments: Roynon replaces Bager. Roynon from gate and rode a clevel line out by the fence to keep Mads behind.
(Too many last places for the Bees is where they're going wrong - Adam)

Comments: Larsen takes the R/R, Bager replaces Roynon. Wolbert gated but loused up bend two and dropped to last. Bager took advantage to nip into second back straight as Magic didn't look particularly interested in challenging for the remainder of the race.

Line Up: Bjerre, Korneliussen, Kennett, Larsen
Comments: Cracking heat. Bjerre showed his 2011 form to charge under Larsen bend 4. Mads cut under Kennett half a lap later to turn a 2-4 into a 4-2. Larsen kept Bjerre honest.

Line Up: Nermark, ~~Howe~~ Szczepaniak, Harris, Summers
Comments: Szczepaniak returns to the pits for last minute adjustments and exceeds the 2 mins. Has to go off 15 metres.
Bomber gave Nermark the elbow first bend which allowed Summers round the outside and despite Summers looking slow, Bomber covered Nermark's every move.

Comments: Bees gate yet again but Mateusz cuts under Kennett lap 2 and then Roynon lap three to put the World U21 champ to shame, great ride.

Comments: Bager takes the R/R for Coventry. (Err, what? - Adam)
Another cracking heat. Stars gate for a change but Harris is all over them and gets under Nermark lap 3 making contact in the progress, very hard. Bomber then conks out next bend.

Heat 14: Re-run: Wolbert, Szczepaniak, Larsen, Roynon (Fx). 5-1 (43-41) 63.33
Line Up: Wolbert, Howe, Larsen, ~~Bager~~ Roynon
Comments: Roynon replaces Bager. Roynon fell while second. One or two Lynn fans who really ought to know better cheered. Adam up and ok. Re-run with 3 riders.
Re-run: Stars gate and team ride. Larsen never gets close.

Comments: Stars gate again but Bees round Nermark second bend. Bjerre however was gone and brought home the bacon for Lynn. Got out of jail there! Phew.
