Meeting is delayed. Texter doesn't know why as the PA has failed.
My guess would be a herd of cows loose on the track. Aren't Coventry at home tonight?

Rebels off 1 & 3

Heat 1: Katt is r/r
Heat 1: Unsatisfactory start. All 4 back
Heat 1: From the gate

Heat 2: Walker touched tapes, off 15m in re-run.
Heat 2: Walker passed Priest lap 2.

Heat 3: Phillips fell lap 2 when 2nd. Allen retired 1st lap.

heat 4: Holder passed Barker lap 3 and almost got Cunningham on the line.

STILL no PA at the Oak Tree Arena. Peter Toogood riding round on parade truck with heat details on a board. I'd pay good money just to see that

Heat 5: Great battle for second between Lemon, Phillips & Coles.

Heat 6: Walker is r/r
Heat 6: Great first bend by Holder, then four laps of terrific racing between him and Zorro.

Heat 7: Cunningham passed Allen lap 1.

Heat 8. Phillips is r/r. Frampton res ride for Cole.
Heat 8: Frampton led, Barker & Phillips passed Priest. Barker came under Frampton who fell. Barker excluded, race awarded.

Heat 9: Hard first bend by Holder, Katt almost ended up on the M5!. Katt 4th to 2nd last lap.

Heat 10: r/r is Cunningham.
Heat 10: Werner is speedway's answer to Ronaldo, stylishly disinterested!

Heat 11: Priest takes reserve ride for Coles.
Heat 11: Great 1st bend by Lemon round the outside of Cunningham & Walker.

Heat 12: Good tussle up front between Katt & Allen.

Heat 13: Holder having a tactical ride.
Heat 13: Unsatisfactory start. Re-run with all four.
heat 13: From the gate, but you could throw a blanket over all four for four laps (except of course they wouldn't be able to see).

Heat 14; From the gate, although Walker all over Werner.

Heat 15 line up:
Zorro, Katt, Holder, Lemon
Heat 15: green light went on, tapes went up and Zorro was gone.
