Comments:

Nice sunny evening at The OTA apparently-Referee Robbie Perks.
Newport win the toss and take 1 and 3

Ht 1-Ezergalis fell last lap whilst in lead under pressure from Frampton.

Ht 2 Glanz fell last bend while in the lead.

Ht 3 From the gate

Ht 4 Good scrap between Gathacole and Mason for 1st place

Ht 5 Ezergalis TR

Ht 5 Easy for Ezergalis,good battle for 2nd

Ht 6 From the gate.

Ht 7 Gathacole won easily

Ht 8 Bates in for Charles and Reynolds in for Glanz. Glanz and Charles have both withdrawn from the meeting.

HT8 Bates and Reynolds both fell on third bend but both got up and carried on-Reynolds retired a lap later.Webster went wide 2nd bend last lap and Pickard nipped through to win the heat.

Ht 9 Mason T/R

Ht 9 Carfield EF at tapes.

Ht 10Pickard and Tutton passed and repassed 3 or 4 times before Tutton retired.

Ht 11 Bates lifted coming out of 4th bend and ploughed into Ezergalis-Bates excluded from rerun.Paramedics attending to Karlis.
Ambulance taking Karlis off the track to hospital as a precaution to be checked out.

No blame attached to Bates-merely a racing incident.

Robert Charles has also gone to hospital with concussion.

Ht 12 3 riders only-Matt Bates not riding in replace of Charles

Ht 13 Reynold replaces Ezergalis.

Ht 13 Statman says Leigh Adams cousin Cory Gathercole looks very classy-I sure hope he is referring to his riding style only

Ht 14 3 riders only.
