Heat Results
Heat 01: Stead, Harris, Andersen, Kling, 61.39, 2-4, 46-55
Line Up: Harris, Kling, Andersen, Stead
Comments: Harris looked like he had got the start, but Stead held the inside line. Andersen at back and forced his way under Kling off fourth bend.

Heat 02: Alden, Eflof, Lindgren (Fell), Lampart (Fell), 2-3, 4-7, 48-59
Line Up: Lindgren, Eklöf, Lampart, Alden
Comments: Restart all 4, Lampart jumped a little bit.
Good start by Robins but Lampart picked up on second bend and fell into airfence, but was able to clear track. Later in the race Lindgren fell while in third and was unable to continue, but also cleared the track.

Heat 03: Kildemand, Holder, Kling, Morris, 3-3, 7-10, 51-61
Line Up: Holder, R/R - Kling, Kildemand, Morris
Comments: Kling takes the R/R.
Holder cut across on 1st bend, and replays show he clipped Kling's front wheel, who had to change track slightly and bumped Morris who fell. Morris's engine didn't seem to cut off, and he threw the bike down - to jeers from the home fans. All 4 back.
Restart: Holder looked good off 4 again, but Kildemand pulled away off second bend and took the win. Kling untroubled for third.

Heat 04: Kasprzak, Batchelor, Alden, Eklöf, 3-3, 10-13, 54-64
Line Up: Kasprzak, Eklöf, Batchelor, Alden
Comments: Batchelor & Alden squeeezed out Eklöf entering the first bend. Kasprzak won at a canter, but Swindon won't worry if they can keep sharing heats.

Heat 05: Andersen, Holder, Stead, Lindgren, 2-4, 12-17, 56-68
Line Up: Holder, R/R - Lindgren, Andersen, Stead

Heat 06: (Rerun) Harris, Batchelor, Kling, Lampart (FX), 62.84, 4-2, 16-19, 60-70
Line Up: Harris, Kling, Batchelor, Lampart
Comments: Lampart goes down in a heap unaided on 4th bend 1st lap while at the back, and is excluded. Kling had made a move underneath him, but Lampart was well wide entering the 3rd bend anyway.
Harris gets the drive off inside of 2nd bend to race ahead of Batchelor, and that's how it stayed.

Heat 07: Kildemand, Kasprzak, Morris, Lindgren, 2-4, 18-23, 62-74
Line Up: Kasprzak, Lindgren, Kildemand, Morris
Comments: Kildemand uses that inside line off the second bend to great effect again - he's flying!
Sponsored by Merlin
Heat 08: Stead, Eklöf, Kling, Alden, 3-3, 21-26, 65-77
Line Up: Kling, Eklöf, Stead, Alden
Comments: Stead makes an excellent pass on the inside of Eklöf 3rd/4th bend and down home straight. Went on to win by a distance. Alden couldn't raise a challenge at the back.
Sponsored by
Heat 09: Holder, Batchelor, Eklöf, Lampart, 4-2, 25-28, 69-79
Line Up: Holder, R/R - Eklöf, Batchelor, Lampart
Comments: Eklöf takes the R/R.
Holder dominates off gate 3, and that was that. To be fair, Lampart made a good start, but was well wide on the first couple of bends and Eklöf held the sensible inside line to take an easy third place.

FTG. Kildemand swiped across Andersen before he pulled out of the race.

All done and not very dusted - Rossiter dragged through the sludge on the track! Poole grab a consolation victory, but the result was never as close as the final aggregate suggests.
Congrats Swindon Robins, EL 2012 Champions.[/i]

Comments:
Teams confirmed.
Referee: Peter Clarke
Track: Very wet.
Weather: Dull & misty, turning to drizzly rain.
Attendance: Lots of Swindown fans on 1st & 2nd bends.
Please note:
Comments about what did or did not happen to Darcy Ward will not be tolerated in this thread. The BSF is already full of guff from all the usual suspects and, in my opinion, is totally unecessary. Thanks, Lovey.[/color]
