Comments :
Apparently Piszcz was injured last night in Poland, I have no other info to the extent of injury though.
Isle of Wight win the toss and take 1 & 3
Heat 1 Boxall takes RR ride (a decision which surprised Leigh as Holder and Doyle were riding in that heat)
Heat 1 Boxall had engine failure when in 4th place on lap 1.
Heat 2 Collins pushed Johnson at one point but was no real threat.
Heat 4 Bunyan didn't seem to threaten the Workington pair at all. Stead was way out in front with goodback up from Collins
Heat 5 Hawkins took RR ride and Wright had an engine failure on lap 2
Heat 6 Fantastic racing between Holder and Stead with Holder being pushed all the way after he had passed Stead lap 1 back straight
Heat 7 Bunyan missed the start but at the start of lap 2 he had picked off both Workington riders, Boxall raced hard all the way thought.
Heat 8 Stead took a RR ride but came out as a Tactical ride to confuse things! Stead gated but Doyle passed him coming out of bend 2
Heat 9 Re run due to an unsatisfactory start, all 4 back! Stead was out gated but rode well to pass the IoW pair out of bend 2
Heat 10 Holder powered round the Workington pair out of bend 2 after being stuck at the back from the start! That guy is awesome to Watch!
Heat 11 Wright taking tactical ride and Collins taking RR
Heat 11 First running of it Johnson fell and the race was stopped wjile Wright was in the lead, in the re run, Jason Bunyan won it but it was announced that as Johnson didn't ride in the re-run that Wright did not beat an opponent.....much discussion and curfuffle but the ref says no, 3-3 in the heat and not 3-5
Johnson withdrawn
Heat 12 Collins instead of Dennis
Heat 12 Marsh was in front when he had an engine failure. ......everyone is still confused by the last heat!
Graham Drury has put in a complaint but the referee refuses to change his mind and the score stays as it is.
Heat 13 Fantastic race for 1st all the way
Heat 14 Stojanowski fell on bend 3/4 of the last lap after being passed by Boxall and going all out to pass back.
Heat 15 Workington won the toss and took 2 & 4
Heat 15 Hawkins engine failure at tapes up
Result now amended after a successful appeal by Workington to include the double points for James Wright's tactical ride in Heat 11
