Line Up: Skornicki, Nermark, Woffinden, Thorssell
Comments: Brummies gate! World champion at the back on the backstraight of lap 1. Thorssell goes in between the Brummies riders on bends 3 & 4 during lap 1, but Skornicki passes him back along the home straight, Woffinden chased hard but Nermark rode a good line.

Heat 02: Jacobs, Morris, Starke, Lambert 1-5 5-7 Time: 59.82
Line Up: Starke, Lambert, Jacobs, Morris
Comments: Wolves gate and that was that. Morris took lap 3 very very gingerly but Starke never close enough to pass.

Heat 03: King, Wells, Barker, Pawlicki 4-2 9-9 Time: 58.37
Line Up: King, Barker, Wells, Pawlicki
Comments: King gates to win. Wells settles in behind for 2nd and Barker 3rd. Pawlicki never looked comfortable. Like most away riders through Pawlicki will now have the track sorted and be much much better.

Comments: Thorssell gates Covatti and Morris neck a neck down the backstraight. Covatti didn't give an inch through and wound it on around the outside Starke passed Morris for 3rd place on bend 3 lap 3.

Comments: Skornicki gates for the win. Wells gives chase and looks good but just not good enough to have a go. Barker 3rd with Proctor a poor last.

Line Up: King, Covatti, Woffinden, Pawlicki
Comments: Wolves gate but from nowhere King streaks down the backstraight, passing both Pawlicki and the World Champion. Then pulls away to win with ease. Woffinden and Pawlicki pack in for a share with Covatti a distant last.

Comments: Nermark gates to win with ease. Lambert gates too but chooses the dog track and comes out last on bend 2 lap 1. Proctor and Jacobs comfortably 2nd and 3rd.
