Heat Results
Heat 01: Worrall, Greaves, Lambert, Chessell 5-1
Line Up: Worrall, Greaves, Lambert, R/R - Chessell
Comments: Heathens all the way but Lambert pushed hard for four laps and made sure Greaves kept going and couldn't relax
Sponsored by www.jaybeadesigns.co.uk/
Heat 02: Williamson, Phillips, Perks 5-1, (10-2)
Line Up: Williamson, Phillips, Neale, Ellis
Comments: Heathens all the way again. Perks got level with Phillips as they went into lap 2 but Phillips got over him going into the turn and pulled a comfortable enough gap. Neale retired at some stage from last
Sponsored by MADDRUM5 www.youtube.com/user/MADDRUM5/videos
Heat 03: Clegg, Chessell, Perry, Johnson 4-2, (14-4)
Line Up: Clegg, Perry, Chessell, Johnson
Comments: Unsatisfactory Start, Clegg moved, stopped and went again when tapes rose. A4B
Re Run: Lightning start by Cleggy and he checked out to win by the proverbial, Terrific scrap behind. Perry got inside Johnson into turn 3 and then went for the outside of Chessell, Chessell rode a cracking race to hold on with Perry out scraping the fence

Heat 04: Starke, Phillips, Perks 5-1, (19-5) (Halsey - Fell / Excluded)
Line Up: Starke, Phillips, Halsey, Perks
Comments: Halsey made a hash of turn 4 lap 1 and bailed out, up and ok but is excluded from re run
Re Run: Heathens all the way, Double whammy for the sweet little cat cats there as in the original running Phillips was last with a sick sounding bike and Perks looked comfortably clear in 3rd
Sponsored by Friends of Edinburgh Speedway www.foes.info/
Heat 05: Clegg, LAMBERT, Perry, Johnson 4-4 (23-9)
Line Up: Clegg, Perry, Lambert, R/R - Johnson
Comments: Lambert is on TR
Superb racing, Lambert makes the best of a tight first turn. Clegg diving up the inside and for 2 laps Perry charging around the outside. Perry dropped back leaving Clegg to take up the challenge for the heathens. He has stolen the win right on the line, Lambert lifting has probably cost him those vital inches

Heat 06: Worrall, Halsey, Greaves, Neale 4-2, (27-11)
Line Up: Worrall, Greaves, Halsey, Neale
Comments: Worrall slowly pulled away throughout. Greaves charged hard inside Halsey for 2 laps. Going into lap 3 Greaves has gone in so much faster then Halsey he's had to pull a parachute cord to kill speed and avoid contact, Neale was still on home straight as Worrall came off turn 4 last lap!!!!
Sponsored by
Heat 07: Starke, Johnson, Williamson, Chessell 4-2, (31-13)
Line Up: Starke, Williamson, Chessell, Johnson
Comments: Starke over the green hill and far away. Good race for 2nd, Johnson was well clear on lap 1. Williamson working hard took about 15 metres out of him, and got close coming off turn 4 lap 3. He tried wide on bend 2 lap 4then back to the inside on the last turn, just a bike length in it on the line. Good last lap by Bren to hold on. Surprisingly Chessell missed the gate and could not get amongst them

Heat 08: HALSEY, Greaves, Phillips, Perks 3-6, (34-19)
Line Up: Greaves, Phillips, RR/Halsey, Perks
Comments:Halsey takes RR and TR
4 into 1 don't go, Perks and Phillips went down relatively easily and are both up and ok. A4B
Re Run: Superb effort by Greaves who missed the gate and had to get passed Phillips before he set sail. Must have taken 15-20 metres out of Halsey to challenge on the last lap but ran out of time. Another half lap would of been interesting
Sponsored by
Heat 09: Clegg, Halsey, Perry, Neale 4-2, (38-21)
Line Up: Clegg, Perry, Halsey, Neale
Comments: Clegg makes yet another start that Greg Hancock would of been proud of, Halsey charged as hard as he could but never got close. Perry spent 3 laps on the outside going nowhere, switched inside last lap and a bit and took 10 metres out of Halsey, changed tactics a lap or 2 too late
Sponsored by
Heat 10: Worrall, Greaves, Johnson, Chessell 5-1,(43-22)
Line Up: Worrall, Greaves, Chessell, Johnson
Comments: This was one of "those" races, forget about Worrall who was clear. Johnson missed it by a mile and then slipped off turn 1 but gets the fair play nod for getting up and carrying on half a lap behind. Greaves looked a comfortable second until he over locked off turn 4 lap 2 and lost his momentum and Chessell got inside him. As it happens fortunately Greaves turned under Chessell on the first turn as Chessell packed up and naturally drifted wide, then Greaves seemed to lose power or interest and cruised the last lap
Sponsored by
Heat 11: Starke, Williamson, Lambert, Perks 5-1, (48-23)
Line Up: Starke, Williamson, Lambert, RR/Perks
Comments: Starke gone in seconds, Lambert was second with Williamson getting his head down to chase. Lambert made a mistake on turn 2 lap 2 and Williamson rode a perfect line to make sure he could drive through the barn door wide open. Williamson then dropped Lambert, showing good pace.

Heat 12: Clegg, Phillips, Perks 5-1, (53-24)
Line Up: Clegg, Phillips,Chessell, Neale[/strike & Perks
Comments: Clegg checked out. Perks gates level with Phillips but more commitment from Phillips on the outside run to turn 3 saw him take 2nd. Good ride by Perks(uncle Dave will be proud) in 3rd. Pushed Phillips all the way, never more then a couple of lengths behind Phillips who could not afford to make an error
Sponsored by
Heat 13: Worrall, Starke, Halsey 5-1, (58-25) (Lambert - Fell)
Line Up: Worrall, Starke, Lambert, Halsey
Comments: Race stopped end of lap 4, race declared. Lambert fell turns 1 and 2 lap 4 looks to me that's rung his bell, i think he is sitting up though.
On first turn Starke made a super turn back from wide to the kerb and passed both the visitors down the backstraight and had such a good run he had to shut off to allow Worrall to take the turn. Heathens then pulled clear.
Lambert up and walking back to pits under his own steam.

Heat 14: Perry, Williamson, Johnson, Perks 5-1, (63-26)
Line Up: Perry, Williamson, Johnson, Perks
Comments: Johnson briefly had his nose in front by the time they had got out of turn 2 Perry had gone outside and Williamson passed up the inside. Johnson gave it everything in his attempts yo get through for second, pushing hard he almost forced an error from Williamson a couple of times but Williamson beat him by a couple of lengths. Perks slid off turn 4 lap 4 but got up to roll across the line.
Sponsored by Splod
Heat 15: Worrall,Starke,Halsey,Johnson 5-1, (68-27)
Line-up: Worrall, Starke, Johnson, Halsey
Comments: Think tapes may of gone up wonky, the 2 boys off the inside were a length or 2 down as they left the gate. Didn't matter to Worrall who drove so well to the turn that he was 2nd by the first turn. The Heathens pulled clear, Starke backed off coming off 4 to allow Worrall to get his full max.

Bronze helmet race: Worrall, Halsey
Line Up: Worrall, Halsey
Comments: Worrall to defend his Brown Helmet against Halsey
Halsey made the gate, Worrall rode a big brave wide line on the opening lap to storm around Halsey going into lap 2, wasn't brave enough to do it again though and dropped to the inside to fight off any challenge that may have come, it didn't.
