Boston 1 and 3.
There is a Bronze Helmet race at end of meeting. However just started to rain.
Heat 1: Brundle always close but never looked like passing. From the gate.
Heat 2: McDade fell last bend of lap 1 while 3rd.
Heat 3: Great gate by Boston pair and team rode well but Smart passed Lambert end of Lap 2.
Heat 4: From Gate.
Heay 5: Boston pair made the gate but this time went unchallenged.
Heat 6: Herne ef first bend.
Heat 7: Irwin fell he was getting up when Smart had ef Irwin unaware and left the track. All this while Wright was out infront.
Heat 8: Smith gated but was passed by Weymouth pair lap 1 and had ef lap 2 when 3rd.
Heat 9: Lambert from gate never really troubled. Mallett blew up on the line. and his bike caught fire in centre, K Mason struggled to get off the line and suffered ef and pushed last half lap for point.
Heat 10: Smart passed Brundle lap 3. Smith pulled up last lap.
Heat 12: Smart ef while 2nd & coasts over the line.
Heat 13: Boston gated on a 5-1 but Wright ef end of 1st lap.
Heat 14: Brilliant race between Irwin and Lambert. Lambert made gate. Irwin passed him lap 3. Lambert repassed last lap always close.
Heat 15: Boston off 1 and 3
Line-up: Lambert, Brundle, D Mason, Smart
Boston gated but Smart passed Lambert on lap 2.
Bronze Helmet Race. From the gate but Smart tried everything but couldnt get by. Great race.
