Comments: Artem gated and was pretty much untroubled. Nice move round the outside by Huckenbeck on the opening bends and there was contact between Grigorij and Smolinski which ended Grigorij's challenge until the final lap when he got level with the German but couldn't make it stick.

Comments: North made a storming gate, then with Iversen all over him in the latter stages. Pedersen uncharacteristically all over the place at the back.

Comments: The Germans made a great gate and were leading on bend 1 but North, in third, reared violently on bend 2 and completely messed up Holder's race which left the Aussies with too much to do. Rain has now stopped.

Comments: Best race of the night by far. Manzares was only the second rider to not win from gate 4 as the Swedes gated with Manzares in third. Greg passed his compatriot bend 3 lap 1 and passed Jonasson bend 4 lap 2 but the Swede got back past bend 2 lap 3. Then Manzares got involved and the Americans went either side of him bend 2 lap 4 but THJ went round Manzares bend 4 lap 4 and just edged ahead on the line by a tyre width.

Manzares though took the lead bend 4 lap 1 with Busch all over him. Huckenbeck then passed Hancock bend 4 lap 2 and the German pair were all over Manzares and Busch did it off bend 3 lap 4. Begun to rain again.
