Heat 01: Ward,Harris,Summers,Ayres...2-4 59.9
Line Up: Harris , R/R - Ayres , Ward , Summers
Comments: Ayres takes the rider replacement ride. Coventry off gates 1&3.
Ward absolutely flying - big points tonight for Ward to top up the beer fund.

Heat 02: Wright,Sarjeant,Shuttleworth,Ayres I(Fell/Remounted)...2-4 (4-8) 61.6
Line Up: Ayres , Sarjeant , Wright , Shuttleworth
Comments: Ayres fell bend 2 and completely ruined Sarjeant's blast round Wright. He then fell again after remounting and very nearly a third time after the race. Less falls in an Olympic diving contest.

Heat 03: Morris,Batchelor,King,Kylmakorpi...(1-5) 5-13 60.4
Line Up: King , Kylmakorpi , Morris , Batchelor

Sponsored by
Heat 04: Zengota,Walasek,Sarjeant,Shuttleworth...(3-3) 8-16 60.5
Line Up: Walasek , Sarjeant , Zengota , Shuttleworth
Comments: Zengota hard on Walasek off bend 2 but absolutely flew off after that. Assume he wants to get his heats finished as quick as possible because he's had an invite to a Morris/Ward party.
Sponsored by Friends of Edinburgh Speedway www.foes.info/
Heat 05: Summers,Ayres,Sarjeant,Wright...(3-3) 11-19 61.3
Line Up: R/R - Sarjeant , Ayres , Summers , Wright
Comments: Sarjeant takes the rider replacement ride.
Ayres brilliant first lap to lead Summers and really made Summers work before Summers blasted round eventually.
Sponsored by Splod
Heat 06: Batchelor,Ward,Walasek,King(Fell)...(1-5) 12-24
Line Up: King , Walasek , Ward , Batchelor
Comments: Race awarded. Walasek got himself into second on the back straight but Greg Wallace would have made a stronger effort at defending the place than Greg Walasek. King fell while last end of lap 3. He's up.

Heat 07: Kylmakorpi,Harris,Morris,Zengota...(7-1) 19-25 61.1
Line Up: HARRIS , Kylmakorpi , Morris , Zengota
Comments: Harris takes the tactical ride. Absolutely stunning from Harris to fend off Morris and keep a slower Kylmakorpi in front but Kylmakorpi didn't let Harris through on the last bend.
Sponsored by
Heat 08: Summers,Walasek,Sarjeant,Wright...(3-3) 22-28 61.4

Heat 11:(Re-Run): Morris,Batchelor,Harris(Fell/Excluded),Sarjeant(Engine Failure)...(0-5) 26-41
Line Up: Harris , R/R - Sarjeant , Morris , Batchelor
Comments: Sarjeant takes the rider replacement ride. Batchelor jumped.
Re-Run: Harris with a stunning attempt round Morris in one of the bravest efforts I've seen but couldn't barge past. Harris then lost it a lap and a half later in a similar crash to Wednesdays. Pretty sure Sarjeant just gave up at the back.

Heat 12:(Re-Run): Sarjeant,Ayres,Shuttleworth,Wright...(5-1) 31-42 62.4
Line Up: Ayres , Sarjeant , Wright , Shuttleworth

Heat 13: Ward,Batchelor,Harris,Kylmakorpi...(1-5) 32-47 61.2
Line Up: Harris , Kylmakorpi , Ward , Batchelor
Comments: Harris passed Batchelor on lap 1 and I hate to say this but it was a top move and ride from Batchelor to blast back round him. Never mind, I hear our team spirit is high even if our points tally isn't.

Heat 15: Harris,Batchelor,Morris,Walasek...(3-3) 36-55 61.1
Line-up: Harris , Walasek , Batchelor , Morris
Comments: Swindon off gates 1&3. Harris gated third but produced nothing short of a world class second bend to carve the Robins to shreds. All a bit too late I'm afraid...
