Heat Results
Heat 01:(Re-Run): Kurtz,Jonsson(15m),Holder,Swiderski (Retired)... 62.6 4-2
Line Up: Holder , Kurtz , Jonsson(15m) , Swiderski
Comments: Andreas Jonsson takes a flier into the tapes. He will now start off 15m.
Re-Run: Jonsson proved what a handful he is going to be when he starts at the tapes as he made up the ground, split the Poole duo and almost snatched victory on the final turn. All this after Swiderski had made a good gate himself.

Heat 02: Ellis,Kerr,Newman,Mear...62.5. (4-2) 8-4
Line Up: Ellis , Newman , Mear , Kerr
Comments: Cool stuff from Ellis off gate 1. Newman worked hard to get into the points, reared and was sent to the back but he gallantly fought back for an eventual comfortable third place.

Heat 03: Buczkowski,Nilsson,Watt,Bridger...63.09 (4-2) 12-6
Line Up: Watt , Buczkowski , Nilsson , Bridger
Comments: Noahs Ark stuff from the Pirates as they build their lead two by two, but both Pirates under pressure at stages.

Heat 04: Newman,Lawson,Andersen,Kerr...63.16 (4-2) 16-8
Line Up: Andersen , Newman , Lawson , Kerr
Comments: An unpunished flier from Kerr served no purpose as he was eventually relegated to the back, Newman making a great first and second turn to take the initiative but all eyes were on the late arrival Andersen as after picking off Kerr he very nearly sneaked inside Lawson.

Heat 05: Swiderski,Kurtz,Ellis,Mear...62.54 (3-3) 19-11
Line Up: Kurtz , Ellis , Swiderski , Mear
Comments: Swiderski all the running but a very competent ride from Kurtz to put him under real pressure over the last half of the race.

Heat 06: Jonsson,Andersen,Bridger,Watt...61.72 (2-4) 21-15
Line Up: Watt , Andersen , Jonsson , Bridger
Comments: Great lines from Andersen, 100 lines from Watt! Hans had worked his way from last to first superbly on the opening lap, but Jonsson just managed to nick victory with a brilliant fight off the final turn and to the line.

Heat 07: Nilsson,Buczkowski,Holder,Lawson...62.12 (3-3) 24-18
Line Up: Holder , Buczkowski , Nilsson , Lawson
Comments: Bucking and rearing throughout Buczkowski was unrelentless in search of Nilsson who managed to just stay at arms length out in front.

Heat 08: Andersen,Newman,Swiderski,Mear...62.41 (5-1) 29-19
Line Up: Andersen , Newman , Swiderski , Mear
Comments: Incredibly good ride from Newman, using outside and in to battle by a resilient Swiderski and join the super smooth Andersen for the first 5-1 of the evening.
Sponsored by
Heat 09: Kerr,Kurtz,Lawson,Ellis...62.53 (2-4) 31-23
Line Up: Kurtz , Ellis , Lawson , Kerr
Comments: Satisfactory result as it prevents the near certain tactical ride of Jonsson in Heat 10. Kurtz splitting the Lakeside pair who had the better starts. Ellis spent the length of the back straight of lap 1 on 1 wheel, wrestling to get the thing down.

Heat 10: Buczkowski,Jonsson,Swiderski,Watt(Retired)...62.36 (3-3) 34-26
Line Up: Watt , Buczkowski , Jonsson , Swiderski
Comments: Watt looked like he was going to join the party with a great first turn but ran very wide round near the pits. But just as it looked forlorn for the Pirates Buczkowski buzzed up the inside and swept by both Hammers in one move to take the lead and gave Jonsson no opportunity of any last lap antics this time.

Heat 11: Holder,Kurtz,Nilsson,Bridger...61.75 (5-1) 39-27
Line Up: Holder , Kurtz , Nilsson , Bridger
Comments: Kurtz battles by Nilsson to join Holder on a 5-1 and a double figure cushion develops.

Heat 12: Newman,Ellis,Mear,Kerr...63.65 (5-1) 44-28
Line Up: Ellis , Newman , Mear , Kerr
Comments: Sensational happenings from lap 3 onwards. Newman who had fluffed the gate battled into the lead then Ellis passed Kerr and somehow found an opening to sweep into second place for a huge 5-1.

Heat 13: Holder,Buczkowski,Jonsson,Bridger...62.1. (5-1) 49-29
Line Up: Holder , Buczkowski , Jonsson , Bridger
Comments: Bridger had plenty of movement at the start but race continued as he hampered himself (and Jonsson in fairness). Poole boys awesome leaving Jonsson no chance to recover.

Line-up: Buczkowski , Kurtz , Jonsson , Nilsson
