Heat Results
Heat 01: Morris, Armstrong, Bradley Andrews, Widman 4-2 55.3
Line Up: Morris, R/R - Bradley Andrews, Armstrong, Widman
Comments: Lighting start for Morris. That looks a fast one. Bradley Andrews joined him but Armstrong quickly round him and takes 2nd into bend 3 lap 1. Widman closed in later. Morris equaled his own NL track record as he thought.

Heat 02: Awarded: Andrews, Bowtell, Ruddick, Cupitt - Fell / Excluded 3-3 (7-5)
Line Up: Cupitt, Bradley Andrews, Ruddick, Bowtell
Comments: Lighting start by Bradley Andrews. Cupitt with him on a 5-1. Bowtell dived in going into bend 1 lap 3. Cupitt out wide and slips off under the fence. Race Awarded and Cupitt is excluded.

Heat 03: Coles, Chessell, Richard Andrews, Widman 3-3 (10-8) 58.4
Line Up: Chessell, Richard Andrews, R/R - , Coles
Comments: Heathens react quickest but Coles just as quick to despatch them. Chessell always in contention and pushed to the flag. Couple of bikes lengths in it. Good ride by Coles.

Heat 04: Clegg, Mountain, Bradley Andrews, Bowtell - Excluded 4-2 (14-10) 56.4
Line Up: Clegg, Bradley Andrews, Mountain, Bowtell
Comments: Forget the front two riders. Bradley Andrews behind Clegg. Mountain got around the outside down the backstraight of lap 1. As Bradley Andrews tried to hold him of he make a mistake. That allowed Bowtell a run. He rode a super home straight into lap 2 but Bradley Andrews got back under him off bend 2. Bowtell was charging hard and on the last turn tried a Doyle-escaped drive bu,b. He took Bradley Andrews off and fell awkwardly himself. Bradley Andrews got up and rode across the finish line. Hence the race was completed but the referee excluded Bowtell for under racing. All riders are up and ok.

Heat 05: Armstrong, Richard Andrews, Chessell, Widman 3-3 (17-13) 58.1
Line Up: Chessell, Richard Andrews, Armstrong, Widman
Comments: Chessell gated but as I seem to be saying every week lately he was getting wider and wider every lap. Inevitably he went over the camber on bend 2 and gifted Armstrong the whole track to pass him. Next lap he almost fenced himself in the same spot. I really don't know what's going on lately because at the start of the year Chessell was flying here and looking classy in the progress.

Heat 06: Morris, Mountain, Bradley Andrews, Ruddick 4-2 (21-15) 56.6
Line Up: Morris, R/R - , Mountain, Ruddick
Comments: Heathens with sharp gating again. Mountain round the outside of Bradley Andrews into bend 3 lap 1. Well spread out.

Heat 07: Clegg, Coles, Mountain, Cupitt - Fell 3-3 (24-18) 56.1
Line Up: Clegg, Cupitt, R/R - Mountain, Coles
Comments: Reasonably even break but the pussycats are no match for the Cleggmister. Terrific scrap for 2nd place between the visitors. Did someone forgot to tell them it's a team meeting!! Cupitt fell on his own a mile behind on bend 2 lap 4.

Heat 08: Richard Andrews, Bowtell, Widman, Bradley Andrews - Fell, remounted 3-3 (27-21) 58.4
Line Up: R/R - Richard Andrews, Bradley Andrews, Widman, Bowtell
Comments: Richard Andrews all the way for the win. Bradley Andrews gated with him and rode first bend well to clamp Bowtell. Bowtell loves a dive bomb through and done it again into bend 3 lap 1 for 3rd. Hard but perfectly fair move to get inside Bradley Andrews and push him out. Great move this time. Bradley Andrews looked rather disgusted with himself for throwing the odd point away. He's having another encouraging night through.

Heat 09: Mountain, Richard Andrews, Chessell, Ruddick 3-3 (30-24) 58.8
Line Up: Chessell, Richard Andrews, Mountain, Ruddick
Comments: Mountain all the way but too convincing with a few dodgy turns. Chessell challenged for two laps but I'll give you three guesses what happened Richard Andrews past for 2nd and Chessell appeared to just give up on lap 3. He rolled around as Ruddick made up half a lap on him. As Ruddick went to pass him off the last bend Chessell gauge the throttle a twist to get there. I'd have excluded Chessell for not racing.

Heat 10: Morris, Coles, Bradley Andrews, Parker 4-2 (34-26) 56.6
Line Up: Morris, R/R - Bradley Andrews, R/R - Parker, Coles
Comments: Coles started well. Bradley Andrews tried to get his nose up the inside and Morris went around the pair off them off bend 2. That was oi. Well spread out and not a thriller this one.

Heat 11: Re-Run: Clegg, Armstrong, Bowtell 3-3 (37-29) 56.9 (Cupitt - Fell / Excluded)
Line Up: Clegg, Cupitt, Armstrong,Widman Bowtell
Comments: Race Stopped. Cupitt gave it large on bends 1 and 2 and dumped himself under the fence.l Tried to get up to let the race continue but couldn't quite exercise himself quickly enough. Looks fine. Cupitt is excluded from the re-run.
Re-Run: Well spread out, and to think I missed Corrie for this!!

Heat 12: Re-Run: Coles, Bradley Andrews, Chessell - Fell, remounted 3-3 (40-32) 60.0 (Bowtell - Fell / Excluded)
Line Up: Chessell, Bradley Andrews, R/R - Coles, BowtellRuddick
Comments: Race Stopped. Fantastic gate by Bradley Andrews. Chessell joined him. Cracking backstraight by Coles to lead passing both Heathens. Bowtell then had delusions of grandeur and tried to dive bomb everybody. Skittled both Heathens and frankly Coles was fortunate to be just far enough ahead to avoid being taken out too. They're all up. Bowtell needs to calm down a touch and it's he not going to calm down he should at least bother to check on his victims. He's not done so yet which as you'd imagine his further enhanced his growing reptaution amongst the Heathens faithful. Bowtell excluded from the re-run.
Re-Run: Heathens react first but Coles rode by far the better first half lap to lead. Chessell chasing hard and close behind slipped off bend 1 last lap. He's had a night to forget. I should state the unofficial record through that Chessell has had a cracking season for us overall this year.

Heat 13: Clegg, Morris, Armstrong, Mountain 5-1 (45-33) 57.5
Line Up: Morris, Clegg, Armstrong, Mountain
Comments: Heathens make no mistake. They were a long way clear and riding beautifully together all the way.

Heat 14: Coles, Richard Andrews, Bowtell, Cupitt 2-4 (47-37) 59.7
Line Up: Richard Andrews, Cupitt, Coles, Bowtell
Comments: Pussycats gate on a 5-1, Richard Andrews quickly into 2nd off turn 2 going outside Bowtell, which is brave, A mile at the back Cupitt almost crashed twice on bends 1 and 2 lap 3. This meeting has been so poor that for completing 4 laps for Cupitt got the biggest cheer of the night by the fans around me.

Heat 15: Clegg, Morris, Armstrong, Coles 5-1 (52-38) 57.7
Line-up: Morris, Clegg, Armstrong, Coles
Comments: No mistake by the Home duo. Easy as you like a mile clear. Neither ever in any danger of being beaten.

Teams Confirmed.
Apparently Dan Halsey old knee injury has flared up badly. Hope he's back soon. He's great to watch at this level.
Richard Andrews and Bradley Andrews have provided really good back up to the top two tonight. Coles has been very good value for the visitors.
