Heat 01: Kasprzak, Lindback, Ljung. Madsen (ret).
Line Up: Ljung, Kasprzak, Madsen, Lindback
Comments: Madsen jumped but then immediately stopped, expecting the red lights to come on. However he'd then just penalised himself so the race continued and Madsen pulled up. Lindback gated but KK was all over him and a great rode from KK to pass the Swede on bend 3 lap 3. Good race to start with.

Heat 02: Vaculik, Pedersen, Huckenbeck, Andersen.
Line Up: Vaculik, Huckenbeck, Andersen, Pedersen
Comments: Kai jumped but still left bend 1 in last place. Vaculik was tucked into second behind Nicki and waited for a mistake. It never came so Vaculik went under him off bend 4 lap 4 and stole the win on the line.

Line Up: Covatti, Milik, Sayfutdinov, Busch
Comments: Busch stormed past them all on bend 2, off gate 4, to take a commanding victory. Emil gated last and passed Covatti bend 4 lap 1 and was all over Milik, bouncing off the home straight fence, but he couldn't get past.

Comments: From the gate. Kolodziej was close to Pawlicki throughout.

Comments: Pawlicki jumped on his second bike.
Vaculik with a super gate and Emil went past Pawlicki & Ljung on bend 2. Emil went wide on bend 3 lap 1 as he attempted to pass Vaculik, but ended up going backwards as Pawlicki and Ljung went under him but Ljung gave him a bid nudge on the way past and Emil went down. Sayfutdinov excluded.
Re-Run: Pawlicki with a good gate and he looked on for a comfortable victoty until Vaculik nearly passed him on the line. Ljung spent the first 2 laps all over Vaculik.

Comments: Andersen jumped but the ref missed it and he gated in second place. Lebedevs passed Andersen bend 3 lap 1. Andersen put both wheels over the white line on bend 4 lap 1 and the yellow light instanlty came on even though Andersen finished the race. Lebedevs all over KK and nearly stole the win on lap 4 off a couple of bends.

Comments: A good start off gate 4 by Madsen took him round Thomsen and Milik on bend 2. Thomsen and Milik passed and repassed for the first 2 laps. Kai came from nowhere to nearly nick third off bends 3 & 4 lap 4 but Milik was just about aware enough.

Comments: A brilliant ride by Kolodziej! The Pole made the start, however he went too wide on bend 2 and swooped between Lindback and Pedersen on the back straight entering bend 3 lap 1.

Comments: Gate 4 is a massive advantage here and Milik utilised that to a tapes to flag victory. A brilliant race between Andersen and Ljung who passed and repassed.

Comments: Vaculik with a faultless start to lead. Thomsen went from last to second on bend 2 lap 1 but then back to second by bend 3 lap 1! KK passed Busch bend 3 lap 1 but the German was hot on his heels throughout. Thomsen pulled up lap 4 when last. Thomsen blew an engine.

Comments: Lebedevs profited from gate 4 to go round the lot on bend 2 to lead. Emil gated last but came under Madsen and Pedersen bend 2 lap 1 in the tightest of gaps. Madsen passed Pedersen bend 2 lap 2. Sayfutdinov was all over Lebedevs and nearly passsed on bend 3 lap 2 and bend 1 lap 3 but he couldn't quite make it stick over the Latvian. Pedersen crossed the white line and got excluded.

Comments: Kasprzak gated to lead. Pawlicki was in third and Pedersen passed underneath him on bend 3 lap 1 but Pawlicki easily went down. Pawlicki excluded.
Re-Run: Milik led but KK and Pedersen were close behind. Pedersen and Kasprzak passed and repassed and KK entered lap 3 in third but he passed Pedersen and then passed Milik bend 3 lap 4. A great race.

Comments: Thomsen came under Ljung bend 3 lap 1 and Thomsen was then all over Pedersen. Even with the advantageous gate 4, Covatti was still dreadful!
Heat 18: Sayfutdinov, Huckenbeck, Kolodziej. Kasprzak (X).
Line Up: Sayfutdinov, Kasprzak, Huckenbeck, Kolodziej
Comments: Stopped. It was shaping up to be a good race as they were 3 abreast on the backstraight, but Kolodziej edged ahead entering bend 3 lap 1 and Kasprzak took Sayfutdinov wide and gave him the slightest of nudges and Emil came down. Kasprzak excluded. Debatable decision but probably correct despite KK's disgust.
Re-Run: Emil made the start but went wide on bend 2 and the others nearly went under him but Emil just about held on entering bend 3. Huckenbeck passed Kolodziej bend 3 lap 1 and had the Pole all over him but Huckenbeck has ridden well tonight and he held him off.
Heat 19: Madsen, Andersen, Pawlicki, Busch.
Line Up: Madsen, Busch, Pawlicki, Andersen
Comments: A great battle between the two Danes. Andersen made the start but Madsen passed him bend 3 lap 1 only for Andersen to cut back on bend 4 lap 1 to retake first. Madsen then went round him on bend 2 lap 2.
Heat 20: Lindback, Vaculik, Lebedevs, Milik.
Line Up: Vaculik, Lebedevs, Milik, Lindback
Comments: Lebedevs passed Milik bend 4 lap 2 to knock out the Czech on countback.
Heavy rain now.
Semi-Final: Kolodziej, Pawlicki, Huckenbeck, Lindback.
Line Up: Kolodziej, Pawlicki, Lindback, Huckenbeck
Comments: Lindback took Huckenbeck wide on bend 1 but that just allowed the Polish pair to go underneath them. The track became very slippy after that deluge and riders struggles to stay on, which is a pity because it's been a high standard of racing tonight!
It's still heavy rain and there's a discussion between riders and officials on the centre green.
Meeting abandoned and the result after 20 heats is declared.
