From the gate, Lambert by a mile. Palovaara fell start of lap 2 and cleared track when last.

Heat 02: Awarded: Ayres, Davey, Morris, Phillips - Fell / Excluded 1-5 (4-8)
Line Up: Morris, Phillips, Davey, Ayres
Comments: Phillips fell bend 4 lap 2 when way way back and is excluded, referee put red lights on, very quickly, too quickly imo as Phillips was clearing the track with plenty of time. Glasgow were on a 5-1 after out muscling the Diamonds in bend one. Rae Awarded.

Comments: Race Stopped. Diamonds away on a 5-1 with Bach in behind, Kus took a pearler bend 3 and Bach did well to put his bike down... but caught Kus in the back and Kus is excluded from the re-run. Kus actually fell in a similar spot on the warm up lap also. Kus walked gingerly into the ambulance. 2 minutes on for Heat 1.
