Texters Comments
Teams now confirmed from trackside.
Weather is hot and sunny and the track has been watered.
Referee: C.M.J. Gay
Eastbourne win the toss and take gates 1 and 3
Heat 1: Moore takes RR. From the gate with Headley not disgraced.
Heat 2: Mads got past Woodward on lap 2 before Woodward pulled up and coasted to finish last.
Heat 3: Janniro takes RR. Stopped. Watt fell on the first bend and is excluded from the re-run. Easy win for Janniro, he has defo got his gating gloves on tonight, 2 rides, 2 wins, 3 starts.
Heat 4: Easy 5-1 for the Robins, track looking a little slick now.
Heat 5: Bridger takes RR, Korneliussen takes RR. Watt tapes to flag victory. Mads locked up and fell on bend 2 of lap 2. Fantastic race between Bridger and Richardson.
Heat 6: Great first lap between Janniro and Gjedde before Billy pulled away for win number 3.
Heat 7: Risager around the outside of Tacey on bends 3 and 4 of lap 1 and Bridger through on the inside on bend 1 of lap 3.
Heat 8: Moore takes RR. Easy 5-1 for the Eagles, Janniro looking in great form tonight, 4 starts, 4 wins, 5 starts.
Poor crowd tonight , probably about 5-600 but there are a few Swindon fans in attendance. Short interval after heat 9.
Heat 9: Risager takes RR. Watt tried to go around the outside but fell, he remounted but retired a lap later. From the gate otherwise.
Heat 10: Janniro missed the gate for the first time tonight but pushed Ulamek all the way.
Heat 11: Gjedde takes RR. Risager tapes to flag. Bridger got past Richardson on bend 4 of lap 3.
Heat 12: Korneliussen in for Tacey. Eagles maximum from the gate with Mads pushin Woodward for 3 laps.
Heat 13: Bridger in for Headley. From the gate with Richardson retiring at the end of the 1st lap.
Interview with Janniro - he said that the track is working for him tonight and he is very happy. Interview Trevor Geer. Stefan Andersson unlikely to be back this season due to injury. Denis Gizatulin will make his debut next week, Geer happy to sign him and said that he chose the Eagles over the Bees who were chasing him as well.
Heat 14: Watt takes RR. Richardson is in for Mads as a tactical sub off 15 metres. Eagles team riding from the gate to an easy maximum 5-1. Richardson appeared to move but was no where.
Heat 15: Janniro Watt Ulamek Gjedde
Unsure who won the toss but as Swindon off gates 1&3 I would presume it was Swindon. Stopped as unsatisfactory start, all four back with the rider in blue (Davey Watt) warned to remain still at the start.
Easy win for Janniro holding off Gjedde. Message to Coventry fans, if you dont want Billy we are more than happy to take him on this form. Rider of the night has to go to....... Billy Janniro - Wow!. Chump of the night........ Lee Richardson.
Many thanks to Andy for the texts tonight, thank you all for looking in and well done to the Eagles for the win
