Line Up: M. Riss, Greaves, Bates, Perry
Comments: Riss quickest from the gate. Perry took the outside line from gate 4 and there was a bit o passing between the two on the first lap before Riss moved clear and won convincingly. Greaves was passed by Bates on the first bend of lap 3 and Bates then just finished ahead of Perry.

Line Up: Schlein, Thorssell, R/R - E. Riss, Bjerre
Comments: Bjerre makes the gate but is passed by Thorssell on the backstraight of lap 1. Schlein then clips the inside of the track on bend 2 of lap 1 whilst overtaking Bjerre but somehow manages to stay on. A clear win from there.

Comments: Wolves riders make the gate but King goes underneath both of them on the backstraight of the 1st lap. Lindgren then winds the speed on and goes round King on the 2nd bend. Howarth slowly gained on King for the rest of the race but not enough to get close to him.

Comments: Bjerre took the lead going into the 2nd lap but coming out of the bend he had too much grip and got out of shape for a moment, allowing Masters to come through.

Re-Run: Thorssell makes the gate with the other 3 riders bunched up coming out of the 1st bend. Riss pulls clear though and manages to stay in 2nd for the rest of the race despite the challenge from Bjerre and Bates.
