Comments:
Weather update: Blooming boiling!
Track well watered and in good shape! (that'll be ovalish then!)
Breaking news from trackside: The Fish and Chip Shop is finally open!
Heat 1: From the gate. Wright looking quick but Stead tailed off and came back into pits with half the track on his kevlars!
Heat 2: Panthers gate but the Aces pair go up the inside and leave Hall at the back. King won by a long way, Fisher looked quite quick. Apparently if you are at the back you get filled in quickly and cannot see a thing!
Heat 3: Swidders had bike problems at the start, went back to pits and just got back to tapes in time, but shed a chain! Race was well spread out!
Heat 4: To be rerun, Doolan fell and excluded.
prior to that it was a great battle, Bjerre made a level start and was pushed very hard by the Aces pair. Doolan fell on the 3rd bend of the 2nd lap, luckily Hall was able to put it down in time.
There will now be a delay as the SUN is bothering them!!
Track being graded and riders coming back out! however, now waiting for some trackstaff to appear!
Skornicki gated well, Bjerre was challenging but his fuel did not appear to be turned on and started up again when half a lap behind!
Heat 5: From the gate. Stead pushing Iversen but Iversen rode the right line and kept him behind. Swidders was well ahead.
Heat 6: From the gate. Dryml rounded them all on the first bend. Andersen struggling with his bikes but was still miles ahead of Doolan. Fisher well back.
Heat 7: Screen on Tactical Ride.
Panthers gated on a 5-1, Bjerre had bike problems on back straight and it kept cutting out on him, Bjerre managed to take King into the fence but somehow both stayed on, then both their bikes packed up, Bjerre managed to keep his going albeit half a lap behind. King is not happy with Bjerre or Ref!
Heat 8: Hall made the start, Dryml gated in last place got past Wright but did not ride the outside line so never looked like passing Skornicki.
Heat 9: From the gate once again. Doolan at the back and unable to get past Fisher., whom nearly fenced his team mate twice!
Heat 10: Andersen gated and was gone. Dryml and Screen had the best race of the season, Dryml inside and Screen outside, Dryml flew round the last bend and got Screen. Screen not happy and had words with Dryml. Dryml then had e/f on victory lap!
Heat 11: Stead from gate but Bjerre looked very quick and lined him up and went on outside line, then cut back to the inside, very quick! King was looking very fast too and with another lap may have caught Stead.
Heat 12: Skornicki in place of Fisher.
From the gate, Hall and Skornicki had a good battle, Hall went round the outside, Skornicki tried to get back but to no avail.
Track is slick now with all going for the outside line.
Heat 13: From the gate. Bjerre went wide on first bend andthen back in but the Panthers were a full straight ahead of the Aves. Stead seems to only ride the one line.
Heat 14: Fisher replaces Laukkanen.
King from the gate, Swidders went past all and Skornicki had to shut off before he hit the fence. Fisher way at the back.
Racing has got better the worse the track has become!
Heat 15: Way to easy for Panthers, almost racing each other. Andersen on the inside with Iversen launching himself around the outside.
