Comments: Wright takes the rider replacement ride. Kerr electric from the gate and hits bend 1 with a clear lead. Harris goes round the Sheffield pair on the opening bends to join him up front. Routine 5-1 although the Sheffield pair weren't too far behind.

Line Up: Thomas , Sarjeant , Smith , Shanes
Comments: Smith just edges out Thomas off bend 2 lap 1 for the lead. Shanes chased after Sarjeant passing him on lap 3. He closed up on Thomas and was on his tail at the end of the race.

Line Up: Vissing , Starke , Bjerre , Graversen
Comments: Starke lifted badly at the start. Sheffield pair on a 5-1 off bend 2. Vissing set after Graversen rounding him on lap 2. Starke on Graversen's tail but couldn't find a way through. Bjerre untroubled out front.

Comments: Sarjeant goes through the tapes and is excluded. Thomas replaces him in the re-run.
Re-Run: Thomas gated well but the heat leaders passed him before they reached bend 2. Wright never under pressure from Worrall. Shanes much faster than Thomas passing him on the home straight at the start of lap 2.

Comments: Bjerre takes the rider replacement ride. Vissing led from tapes to flag. Starke was last off bend 2 lap 1 and then charged after the Sheffield pair. Rounding Kurtz bend 2 lap 2. He had a great tussle with Bjerre for a lap, eventually making the movie vet stick round the inside of bends 3&4 lap 4.

Comments: Harris rocketed from the start to take the lead. Wright closed on him as the race went on and looked faster without threatening to pass. Smith well adrift of Wright but never under serious pressure from Kerr.

Line Up: Worrall , Thomas , Bjerre , Graversen
Comments: Tight between Worrall and Bjerre on the back straight of lap 1 with Worrall edging ahead. He then cleared off for an easy win.Bjerre well clear off Thomas who had Graversen on his back wheel for the last couple of laps. Graversen just failed to pass him at the end of lap 4.

Comments: Much better from Kerr that time, great gate and led all the way. Sarjeant got under Shanes off bend 2 lap 1. Sarjeant not looking for very fast and Shanes never far away from him but Sarjeant held on.

Comments: Stopped. Coming off bend 2 lap 1. Smith drifted out and ran into the side of Starke. Starke took a heavy fall and Smith also fell too. Smith back up on his feet. Starke still down at the moment and the medics are attending to him. Smith excluded from the re-run. Starke back up on his feet.
KIDS RACE TAKING PLACE NOW AS THE FENCE IS GETTING REPAIRED.

Re-Run: Wright gates and clears off. He's looked impressive tonight. Starke toured round the last lap not sure if it was mechanical or if he's feeling the effect of the fall.

Comments: Kerr with a cracking start, Harris went round the boards on the opening bends to join him at the front. Bjerre ran very wide bend 4 lap 1, nearly coming off and killing his speed. Glasgow pair well clear.

Re-Run: Sarjeant is out on one of Worrall's bikes. Cracking ride from Worrall, he was flying and a long way ahead for Wright. Kurtz close to Sarjeant but never able to mount a serious challenge.

Comments: Sarjeant replaces Starke. Glasgow in a complete mess! Both appear in blue helmet colours. Then someone puts the red helmet colour onto Thomas. Then they're in the wrong gate position so! Both excluded for missing the two minutes. Sarjeant will go off 15 metres. Thomas excluded, as only one of them can go from 15 metres.
Re-Run: Sarjeant had caught up with Graversen by the end of lap 1 but then spent most of the race on the inside line and never looked like passing. Shanes won easily.
