Very sad new indeed. I first saw Bob as a novice at New Cross, then onto Wimbledon and West Ham. He has devoted his life to supporting the sport and certanly kept the sport going at Arlington during thick and thin.
Condolences to this family at this difficult time.
RIP Bob

It was the guys at Eastbourne that got me started on my first junior 100cc speedway bike in the 80's with the Dugard family very much the centre of it all. Without them, and the very patient Alan Johns/Jones? who built my first bike (AJP 100cc), I may never of took up the sport. RIP. Best wishes to all.
