Heat Results
Heat 01: Bailey, Sedgmen, List, Medson
Line Up: Medson, List, Bailey, Sedgmen
Comments: Bailey brilliant, gated and held off every challenge Sedgmen threw at him.
Sponsored by www.jaybeadesigns.co.uk
Heat 02: Riordan, Lawrence, Ridley, Knowles
Line Up: Lawrence, Ridley, Riordan, Knowles

Sponsored by MADDRUM5 www.youtube.com/user/MADDRUM5/videos
Heat 03: Fricke, Bowes, Gilmore, Hickey
Line Up: Bowes, Gilmore, Fricke, Hickey

Sponsored by andout www.canadianspeedway.com
Heat 04: Ballantyne, McGuinness, Hook, Graetz
Line Up: Ballantyne, McGuinness, Graetz, Hook
Comments: Ballantyne and McGuinness had a good scrap for a couple of laps before Ballantyne pulled away.
Sponsored by Friends of Edinburgh Speedway www.foes.info/
Supports and then tractors now. The first four heats had Fricke doing a 55 second race time and the other three all in the 57 second range
Heat 05: Fricke, Medson, Lawrence, Hook
Line Up: Hook, Medson, Lawrence, Fricke
Comments: Fricke easily, the engraver has already put Ma on the trophy.
Sponsored by Splod
Heat 06: Riodran, Bowes, McGuinness, List - Fell (Awarded)
Line Up: McGuinness, Bowes, List, Riordan
Comments: Bowes led for three and a half laps but Riordan stole it on the last couple of bends to win.
Sponsored by Memories Of Poole Pirates Speedway Club www.facebook.com/groups/859822440748832/
Heat 07: Ballantyne, Bailey, Ridley, Gilmore
Line Up: Gilmore, Ballantyne, Ridley, Bailey
Comments: Gilmore got shuffled back early, slowed, then got going again but well behind. Uneventful out front with Ballantyne well out in front.
Sponsored by
Heat 08: Sedgmen, Hickey, Knowles, Graetz
Line Up: Sedgmen, Knowles, Hickey, Graetz
Comments: Sedgmen easily but expected because on paper that was his easiest heat of the night.
Sponsored by
Again the finished heats were Fricke in the 54 second bracket, the others in the 57 second bracket, Fricke just over half a second off the track record
Heat 09: Gilmore, Riordan, Medson, Graetz
Line Up: Riordan, Graetz, Medson, Gilmore
Comments: Where has that Gilmore been !! Gated well out of gate four, rode side by side with Riordan for a lap and then stormed ahead. Superb ride from Gilmore.
Sponsored by
Heat 10: List, Ballantyne, Laurence, Hickey
Line Up: Hickey, Laurence, Ballantyne, List
Comments: An angry young man after his previous heat fall, List gated and never troubled
Sponsored by
Heat 11: Re-Run: Fricke, Bailey, Knowles (McGuinness - Fell / Excluded)
Line Up: Knowles, Fricke, Bailey, McGuinness
Comments: Race Stopped, McGuinness fell on bend 2. McGuinness is up and fine but will be a spectator in the re-run.
Re-Run: It’s a killer whale vs sardines, although Bailey kept Fricke in his sights all race.
Sponsored by
Heat 12: Sedgmen, Hook, Bowes, Ridley
Line Up: Hook, Sedgmen, Bowes, Ridley
Comments: Sedgmen simply too good. After a first ride hiccup the normal Sedgmen service has been resumed.
Sponsored by
Heat 13: Medson, Hickey, Ridley, McGuinness - Excluded
Line Up: Ridley, Hickey, McGuinness, Medson
Comments: Hook came out in blue helmet colour one race too soon and was sent back to the pits. McGuinness didn’t come out at all.. Boring race otherwise, strung out like Browns Cows.
Sponsored by Speedway Fiction www.speedwayfiction.co.uk
Heat 14: Re-Run: Gilmore, Hook, List, Knowles
Line Up: List, Hook, Knowles, Gilmore
Comments: Unsatisfactory start, all 4 back for the re-run.
Re-Run: Gilmore blasted round the outside again and gone, List nearly overhauled Hook on the finish line.
Sponsored by Splod
Heat 15: Bailey, Bowes, Lawrence, Graetz
Line-up: Graetz, Bailey, Bowes, Laurence
Comments: Super battle early between the top two before Bailey slowly increased his lead each lap. Bowes has really improved this season.
Sponsored by Lakesidelive follow us on Twitter @lakesidelive
Heat 16: Fricke, Riordan, Sedgmen, Ballantyne
Line Up: Fricke, Riordan, Sedgmen, Ballantyne
Comments: Fricke finished in a different postcode, really entertaining battle for the scraps with Riordan fighting off the Sedgmen challenge.
We had a few very light drops of rain but it’s gone now. Nobody bothered moving or sheltering and I only got about 2 drops on my program that’s how light it was
Heat 17: Re-Run: Ballantyne, Medson, Bowes (Knowles - Tapes / Excluded)
Line Up: Medson, Knowles, Ballantyne, Bowes
Comments: Knowles excluded for demolishing the tapes.
Re-Run: Medson led from the line, Ballantyne cut back underneath him and that was that. Medson never far away but never looked like passing.
Heat 18: Fricke, List, Graetz, Ridley
Line Up: Fricke, List, Ridley, Graetz
Comments: List got alongside Fricke and kept him honest for half a lap but then waved Fricke goodbye as Fricke sailed away.
Heat 19: Riordan, Bailey, Hook, Hickey
Line Up: Bailey, Hickey, Hook, Riordan
Comments: Solid ride after a good gate from Riordan to get the better of Bailey. Best I’ve seen Riordan ride for a while but Bailey certainly not disgraced.
Heat 20: Sedgmen, Gilmore, McGuinness, Lawrence
Line Up: Lawrence, McGuinness, Gilmore, Sedgmen
Comments: Race of the night. Sedgmen strong from gate four but Gilmore immediately jumped straight on his tail. Gilmore all over Sedgmen all race and dived for the line but failed by inches. It would be a happy Sedgmen after that race.
B Final (riders finishing 4th to 7th): Gilmore, Medson, Bailey, Ballantyne
Line Up: Bailey, Ballantyne, Medson, Gilmore
Comments: I don’t know what they put in Gilmore’s drink bottle after his second ride but he has been dynamic after that. Another great gate from out wide in yellow. Gilmore hasn’t ridden like this every time when I’ve been watching before.
A Final (riders finishing top 3 plus winner from B Final): Fricke, Gilmore, Riordan, Sedgmen
Line Up: Riordan, Fricke, Gilmo, Sedgmen
Comments: Fricke as expected, gated superbly and as two bike lengths ahead by turn one. Gilmore was like a bulldog forcing himself up into second, he was magnificent. Riordan and Sedgmen were involved in a titanic struggle but Sedgmen couldn’t find a way by.
