*****COMMENTS*****
Teams confirmed.
Weather has been rainy but should be on and plenty of muck, ruts, trenches and need for big flywheels, should be enough to see off Uncle Len and his boys.
meeting scheduled to start around 6.30.
Diamonds take 1-3
Heat 01: Track looking so sweet - bit of movement at the start from Rye boys but Stancl swept round outside bend 2 and Raun inside on Neath bend 3.
Heat 02: Stoddart missed gate and reeled in Bowen just missed out on the line, Dore and Roynon had good battle for third.
Heat 03: Fine overtake from Pepe going into bend 2 , Clews passed Allen coming out bend 4 lap 1, Allen was miles behind just made 2 laps then fell and remounted, Woffinden went over grass with both wheels on bend 4 lap 4, ref didnt see it tho.
Heat 04: Rye fly out of gate, Stoddart and Wilkinson got in each others way, Stoddart then passed Roynon and almost gets Boxall on the line, Wilkinson was quite away behind, Stoddart looking good tho.
Heat 05: More Controversy both rockets out first Pepe passes Ekberg and reels in Neath he looked like he got it but ref thought differently, Clews almost got Ekberg as well.
Heat 06: Boxall from the gate, both Raun and Stancl looked like passing him til Stancl fell.
Heat 07: Re-run: Wilkinson passed Allen on lap 2 bend 2, and had a good race with Tai using the muck and almost passed him, Allen completed 4 laps
Heat 08: First gate of the night, But Stoddart appeared to have bike problems as the rockets crawled past.
Heat 09: Rye boys looking dangerous overriding to the extreme, Bowen at back almost wiped out Franc in the lead allowing Boxall into 2nd, and putting Clews at the back, but Clews repassed then Bowen fell and remounted, Bowen has been penalised for not leaving track after fall - 10 points please.
Heat 10: Woffinden excluded when in 3rd he fell on 2nd bend, Woffinden did not clear track, Bonsai wants it awarded, but its gonna be re-run.
Re-run: Amazing Stancl gated, Raun passed Allen back straight lap 2, on bend 4 Raun took too much muck, Allen got past Raun but Raun played with muck and rode Dickies trench to get passed Allen with style, what a race from young Raun.
Heat 11: Awarded, Dore fell at the back, Amazing Wilko overtake 316 betweem both rye riders.
Heat 12: Oh its a mucky night , Rye boys gated Pepe tucked in to make use of the low muck and Seany boy used the high muck and swoop round their rolling rivals, Roynon tried everything but this is real racing not drye soufflay.
Heat 13: Rye gated but Diamonds managed to get past Boxall but Neath was too far ahead.
Heat 14: Stoddart out for Dore and Bowen747 replaces 2 laps .
More geniune skill based passes in this heat then at Rye all last night, Stoddart fought with Roynon passed him on inside bend 3 lap 2, Clews was last playing with the muck, deep in the trenches, Bowen trying lock up Rye style but amazing swoop from Clews, during all that Roynon passed into the lead.
Heat 15: Line up: Josef Franc, Carl Wilkinson V Chris Neath, Steve Boxall
Franc fell in 3rd when in process of passing Neath looked like chain snapped, Final score 47-43 to the muck men.
Many thanks to Bonsai for his entertaining texts as usual, Unlucky Rye House and well done to Newcastle, and thanks for all looking in have a good evening, im shattered and off to bed, night night .
