Heat 1 Stewart, Keleher, Lidsey, Ernst
Heat 2 Cook, Medson, Grondal, McGuinness
Heat 3 Holder, Sedgmen, Bewley, Wright
Quality line up. Sedgmen led out the gate but Holder too classy
Heat 4 Szlauderbach, Brennan, Buckley, Bowes ret
Heat 5 Keleher, Bewley, Medson, Bowes
Heat 6 Holder, Stewart, Cook, Bickley
Heat 7 Lidsey, Sedgmen, Szlauderbach, Grondal
Repeat of heat 3 Sedgmen gated but Lidsey did a Hokder and also went by
Heat 8 Wright, Ernst, Brennan, McGuinness ret
Heat 9 Sedgmen, Brennan, Cook, Keleher
Heat 10 Wright, Stewart, Medson, Szlauderbach ret
Belter. Medson led for most of the race with Wright and Stewart lining up behind him waiting to pounce. Wright got by with about a lap to go, then Stewart got by at the death. Medson was mega dirty with himself after doing a hell of a lot of the hard work to stay out front but then getting swamped
Heat 11 Bewley, Lidsey, Bickley, McGuinness
Heat 12 Holder, Ernst, Bowes, Grondal ret.
Tapes went up and Grondal didn’t move courtesy of an uncooperative chain
Heat 13 Wright, Ballantyne, Bickley, Keleher
Ballantyne in for Grondal. The reserve gated like a champion and left them in his wake. Wright was too experienced to let Ballantyne stay there though. Keleher looked like he was on a sick steed.
Heat 14 Stewart, Sedgmen, McGuinness, Bowes
Race of the night. Stewart away from an inside gate, Sedgmen from yellow cut back up the inside to lead, then an absorbing tussle as Stewart gradually clawed his way round the outside to secure the win
Heat 15 Lidsey, Holder, Medson, Brennan
Heat 16 Bewley, Cook, Szlauderbach, Ernst
Heat 17 Holder, Keleher, Szlauderbach, McGuinness
Keleher in front early but Holder wasn’t going to let another heat slip and soon went by rather easily
Heat 18 Bewley, Stewart, Grondal, Brennan
Carbon copy of the previous heat, Stewart out front early, Bewley then got by around half race distance.
Heat 19 Lidsey, Wright, Cook, Bowes
Heat 20 Medson, Sedgmen, Ernst, Bickley
Medson gated again and was being obstinate this time in thwarting Sedgmen. To be fair Sedgmen may have settled for second knowing he was in the semi final after giving it his best shot early and getting alongside Medson a couple of times..
Semi 1 Holder, Lidsey, Cook, Wright
Another race where the early leader was overtaken. Holder looking rather classy in doing the business in getting by Lidsey with relative ease.
Semi 2 Bewley, Stewart, Sedgmen, Medson
Final Holder, Lidsey, Bewley, Stewart ret
Stewart fell on the first bend and cleared the track, The best rider on the night won and fully deserved it.
