COMMENTS:
Boothers is trackside, I have just travelled 40 mile to get an Internet connection thanks to BT for being down in my area!!
Bear with me for a few minutes and I will catch up with the texts.
Auty not on parade as he is having mechanical problems in the pits.
Ht 1; Track record for Topinka from the tapes.
Ht 2; Easy from the tapes.
Ht 3; Monarchs gated but Sneddon went very wide on 2nd bend letting the Bears pairing through, didn't look particularly comfortable.
Ht 4; Re-Run; Summers (xm), Tully in as r/c. All 4 re-start again. Tully warned for moving, should of been let go as Tully was the only one to of suffered. First two bends were excellent with Wethers on inside and Proctor round the outside, nip and tuck but Proctor lost ground on 4th bend.
Ht 5; Summers in as r/r in Yellow.
Ht 5; Grieves much more comfortable, Giffard threatened 2nd for a couple of laps.
It's all gone a bit quiet
Ht 6; havelock from the tapes, but rounded with apparent ease by Tully on 3rd and 4th bends.
Ht 7; Close from the gates but Monarchs well in the lead by end of the lap. Proctor dived under Sneddon going into 1st bend of last lap.
Ht 8; Easy, it goes without saying gave it everything but it was never on with this track.
Ht 9; Grieves t/r. Good tussle between Grieves and Wethers before Grieves managed to pull away.
******* SHORT INTERVAL ******
Boothers Interval comment; "Total waste of t/s ride! Should of left Keskinen in for his last ride and accepted the 1-5. Then again does it matter we're getting shown up"
Ht 10; Keskinen in 3rd place shocker! Fisher won easily but stop the presses a good 3rd place for Keskinen who dealt firmly with the challenge of Sneddon.
Ht 11; Wethers in as r/r in Yellow. Proctor just from the gate held on quite easily. Auty fell in last place on the final bend.
It's now started to rain.
Ht 12; Sneddon flew from the tapes and Tully was briefly at the back. Grieves passed outside entering the 2nd lap and Tully followed close behind.
Ht 13; Easy for the Monarchs from the tapes. Even Proctor manages his first zero around the STMP.
Ht 14; Auty gates and wins but Fisher's been around long enough to know not to do anything stupid.
Ht 15; PROCTOR; GRIEVES; WETHERS; FISHER;
Monarchs gated but Grieves split them coming out of the 2nd bend holding on for second despite a good effort by Wethers.
Many thanks to Boothers, the text eventually finding me and of course to you all for joining in tonight.
See you all back on here tomorrow night.
