Comments:
Teams now confirmed from trackside.
Track looks good, grip on the outside and they are watering the track now (6.58pm)
Weather is nice and sunny.
Lakeside won the toss and take gates 1 and 3.
Sun has gone down and getting colder now, nice and dry.
Heat 1: Zabik to take RR. Pedersen was shut out on bend 2 but passed Lanham on the first lap.
Heat 2: Race stopped, Kling fell on bend 3 of lap 3, Tomicek locked up in front of him, Eriksson had already passed Kling. He is up, ok and is excluded from the rerun.
Rerun: Pirates were on an easy 5-1 until Suchecki fell on the second bend of the last lap, pushed it home for the point.
Heat 3: Hammers were on a 5-1 before Watt passed Kylmakorpi, just failed by a wheel to catch Shields. Good race.
Heat 4: From the gate.
Heat 5: Very easy Pirates 5-1 from the gate.
Heat 6: Eriksson to take RR. Eriksson passed Davidsson on bend 4 of the second lap.
Heat 7: Shields to take a TR. Easy win from the gate for Holder.
Heat 8: Suchecki to take RR. From the gate, Tomicek chased hard for a couple of laps.
Heat 9: Pirates on an easy 5-1 until Zabik fell on his own on bend 1 of lap 3. He walked off holding his wrist. To be rerun without Zabik.
Rerun: Easy win from the gate. The dirt line is now very wide.
Heat 10: Eriksson to take RR. Easy win for Pedersen. Great pass by Eriksson on bend 3 of lap 3.
Heat 11: Easy win for Hampel, good battle between Suchecki and the white-lining Lanham.
INTERVAL now
Heat 12: Reserve swap, Suchecki in for Eriksson. Comfy win for Watt, basically riding around the air fence!
Heat 13: From the gate.
Heat 14: Eriksson replaces Zabik. Eriksson passed both Hammers over the first two laps, inside one then outside of the other! Awesome ride, Roxy says that it is good that he cant gate!!
Heat 15: Line up: Watt Pedersen Shields Hampel Poole win the toss and take gates 1&3.
Hampel went down on the first bend, they all got to the corner in a line. Hampel is walking back ok. To be rerun with all four riders.
Rerun: Great race, both Hammers got into the front after a very tight first bend, with Watt re-passing Hampel on lap 2.
Pirate Roxy says overall an easy win for the Pirates, with only Shields and Hampel offering any opposition. Zabik walked off with an ice pack on his left wrist.
Many thanks to Pirate Roxy for the texts tonight and thankyou to you all for looking in.
