Delay while the doctor checks out Branney who has aggravated an old back injury. Kev says that puts a different slant on things if he pulls out! Branney is ok to carry on. In the race, Comets emerged ahead from a tight first bend.

Fisher taking a TR. Comets on a 5-1 with Wright lerading until he had an engine failure on bend 3lap 3. Topinka held on despite Fishers best efforts.

Fisher RR. Fishers chain snapped at the tapes! He will go off 15m. In re-run, Reima had to battle to hold off Fisher who had caught him by bend 2 lap 1!

Wethers in for Summers. Great race between front 3, Branney and Wethers passed and repassed all race. Wright took a nasty fall bend 4 lap 4 whilst last.

They have just finished watering the track...and now it's started to rain! Just light drizzle at the moment though. Wright is getting checked over by the doctor. Summers replacing Wethers and the rain has now stopped. Brilliant inside pass by Kauko inside Fisher bend 2 lap 4.
