Heat Results
Heat 01: Starke, Cook, Atkin, Richardson (F) 4-2, AWD
Line Up: Atkin, Starke, Cook, R/R Richardson
Comments: Richardson takes the r/r ride for the Hitmen. Richardson fell on bend 4 of lap 3. Race stopped and awarded, Starke looked very quick up front. Was from the gate when it was stopped.

Heat 02: Dallaway, Stoneman, Pickard, Isherwood 3-3; 7-5, 53.57
Line Up: Stoneman, Pickard, Isherwood, Dallaway
Comments: Race won from the gate!

Heat 03: Stephens, Bates, Mudgway, Richardson 5-1; 12-6, 52.53
Line Up: Bates, Stephens, Mudgway, Richardson
Comments: Stephens away and gone. Bates with a great ride to go from last to 2nd. Hitmen were team riding to keep Bates back but went up the inside of Mudgway on 1st bend of 3rd lap, before pulling the exact same move on Richardson a lap later after the Hitman had drifted. Mudgway passed his partner on the run to the line.

Heat 04: Hughes, Pickard, Taylor, Dallaway 5-1; 17-7, 52.44
Line Up: Hughes, Pickard, Taylor, Dallaway
Comments: Pickard gated like a rocket but was passed by Taylor on 1st bend. Hughes at this stage was 3rd. But by bend 3 lap of 1st lap Hughes went passed his partner, before chasing down Taylor. He passed the Buxton man up the inside of bend 4 of lap 2. Pickard then somehow managed to pass Taylor on the 1st turn of lap 3 and held on to take a great 2nd place. Craneman thinks Taylor was trying too hard after being passed initially by Hughes which cost him as he made too many mistakes.

Heat 05: Stephens, Bates, Cook, Dallaway 5-1; 22-8, 51.94
Line Up: Bates, Stephens, Cook, R/R Dallaway
Comments: Dallaway is the r/r for Buxton. Unbelievable race. Simply brilliant! Stephens, Bates and Cook literally 3 a breast for 3 and 3/4 laps! Bates on the inside, Stephens mid track and Cook around the outside. All 3 at it for the whole race, but on the final turn Cook went just too wide allowing Bates to take 2nd on the line. Dallaway miles back.

Heat 06: Starke, Taylor, Atkin, Isherwood 4-2; 26-10, 52.22
Line Up: Atkin, Starke, Taylor, Isherwood
Comments: Taylor gated but Starke cut it back on 2nd turn and squeezed Taylor out going into 3rd turn. Starke then went on to win by a mile! Taylor just held off Atkin to get 2nd.

Heat 07: Hughes, Mudgway, Richardson, Stoneman (R) 3-3; 29-13, 52.34
Line Up: Hughes, Stoneman, Mudgway, Richardson
Comments: Hughes by a postcode! Stoneman had e/f whilst last on bend 2 of lap 2. Hitmen were comfortable in the minor places at the time.

Heat 08: Re-run: Starke, MUDGWAY, Dallaway, Pickard 3-5; 32-18, 53.31
Line Up: Starke, Pickard, R/R Mudgway, Dallaway
Comments: Mudgway takes the r/r and a tactical ride. All 4 back after Pickard jumped the start. Starke looking really good tonight. Pickard fell and re-mounted when 3rd. Unlucky for Pickard as he was going well until he fell.

Heat 09: Stephens, Bates, Taylor, Isherwood 5-1; 37-19, 53.53
Line Up: Bates, Stephens, Taylor, Isherwood
Comments: Stephens gated with Taylor right on his back wheel. Bates though who was a close 3rd kept it tight to the white line and after chasing Taylor for 3 laps, passed him on inside of turn 1 on final lap. Craneman says Bates is his rider of the night so far.

Heat 10: Starke, Mudgway, Atkin, Richardson 4-2; 41-21, 52.66
Line Up: Atkin, Starke, Mudgway, Richardson
Comments: All 4 gated together but Starke came out infront. Mudgway rode well to keep Atkin back in 3rd. Richardson was a distant last.

Heat 11: Hughes, COOK, Dallaway, Stoneman 3-5; 44-26, 52.78
Line Up: Hughes, Stoneman, Cook, R/R Dallaway
Comments: Dallaway is the r/r. Cook takes Buxton's 2nd tactical ride. Hitmen gated but Hughes went around them on the 1st turn. Cook though never gave up and was on Hughes' back wheel for all 4 laps. Stoneman a distant last.

Heat 12: Mudgway, Bates, Isherwood, Pickard 2-4; 46-30, 53.59
Line Up: Bates, Pickard, Mudgway, Isherwood
Comments: Hitmen gated again with Bates a poor 4th. However Bates wound it on to pass his partner on the 1st lap before passing Isherwood on turn 2 of lap 2. By the end he had nearly caught Mudgway. The Hitmen are still in it!!

Heat 13: Taylor, Cook, Atkin, Hughes 1-5; 47-35, 54.05
Line Up: Atkin, Hughes, Cook, Taylor
Comments: Hitmen gated and squeezed Hughes out on 1st turn. They then team rode brilliantly to keep the Devils pair behind them. Its getting close now!!

Heat 14: Stephens, Isherwood, Pickard, Dallaway 4-2; 51-37, 53.88
Line Up: Stephens, Stoneman Pickard, Richardson Isherwood, Dallaway
Comments: Isherwood replaces Richardson for Buxton and Pickard replaces Stoneman for the Devils. Stephens gated with the Hitmen packed in for the minor places. But Pickard produced a great pass up the inside of Dallaway on bend 3 lap 2 to put the Devils into the playoff final.

Heat 15: Hughes, Starke, Cook, Taylor 5-1; 56-38, 52.72
Line-up: Starke, Hughes, Cook, Taylor
Comments: Hitmen won the toss and go off 1 and 3. Buxton pair gated but Hughes went around the lot on turn 1. Starke who was at the back early on, passed Cook up the inside of bend 2 on lap 3 after previously blowing Taylor away. Congratulations to Plymouth on making the final. Commiserations to Buxton who Craneman said tried their hearts out!

Comments:
Teams now confirmed.
Ref is Peter Clarke
Craneman said there is a huge crowd!!
Track has been ripped up on the outside but looks fairly slick on the inside, they have also put a fair amount of water down.
Weather has been dry all day, but cloudy, and Craneman doesn't see the weather being a problem tonight as its pretty clear overhead.
Thankyou to Craneman for his excellent texts and to you all for watching. Goodnight.
