Comments:
Weather: It's unbearably hot.
Finally seem to be getting under way.
Mildenhall win toss and take gates two and four.
Heat 01: Good battle between Mason and Armstron. Heath passed Candy on the first lap.
Heat 02: Bridger tapes offence. Will go off 15 metres. Bridger passed Filmer on opening lap, and passed Campos on final bend.
Heat 03: Brown drifted wide on fourth bend lap one and went from first to last. Johnson drifted wide in the same place the following lap. Gledhill dived hard under him going into first bend and Johnson fell. Johnson excluded. The Mildenhall supporters are not happy!
Race to be re run. Johnson is up and seems okay.
Great battle between Brown and Smart with Brown just holding on.
Heat 04: Armstrong in as rider replacement. Bridger engine failure at tapes.
Heat 05: Smart passed Candy lap one. Johnson passed Candy second lap.
Heat 06: Armstrong passed Giffard on the final bend. Great ride otherwise by Giffard, just drifted wide on final bend.
Heat 07: Smart in as rider replacement. Gledhill passed Campos lap three.
Heat 08: Bridger was on Brown's bike and looked very comfortable. Candy was with him in the early stages but was passed by moth Mildenhall riders on the second lap.
Interval now.
Heat 09: Giffard was never far behind, but never likely to pass Smart.
Heat 11: Bargh in as rider replacement and Bridger reserve replacement for Candy but will be using Candy's machinery. Bargh passed Mason in the early stages.
Heat 12: Bridger reserve replacement for Filmer. Bridger was all over Johnson by unable to find away through.
Heat 13: Johnson in as rider replacement. Great race between Johnson, Mason and Giffard. Giffard passed Johnson lap three. Giffard actually did very well to stay on his bike on the opening lap. He was left very, very little space down the backstraight.
Heat 14: Bargh in as reserve replacement for Campos. Giffard in as tactical substitute instead of Gledhill off 15 Metres. Great stuff from Giffard. Passed Smart in the final lap and was inches from Bargh on the final line too.
Heat 15: Line Up: Armstrong, Smart, Mason, Brown. Weymouth win the toss and will go off one and three. Excellent team riding from the Weymouth pairing for the first three laps. Armstrong passed Brown on the final lap.
