Comments: Silver was very hard on Graversen on bend 2, sending him sliding through the fence. Graversen is up and ok. All 4 back for the rerun.
In the rerun, Silver with a magnificent cut back on bend 2 lap 2, then lost control bend 3 lap 3 allowing Graversen through. Great battle! Easy win for Bowen.

Comments:Bike trouble for Lawson. Out on Comptons bike.
Doolans bike died at the start. He got it going as the riders were half way round lap 1. From the gate.

Comments:From the gate. Silver had a wobble bend 2 lap 2, but Compton was too far back to make anything of it.
10 min delay for track work as it's in such a mess.

Heat 05: Re run Wright, Rymel, Ksiezak Ex, Neath Ex. 0-5, 19-10, 58.5

Comments:Neaths bike died at the start. Ksiezak lifted going in to bend 3 collecting Rymel, both smashing through the fence. Ksiezak and Neath excluded.
Ksiezak walkig back to the pits. Rymel being attended to by paramedics. 4th bend fence has been demolished!
Rymel on his feet and walking back to the pits. At most other PL tracks he'd be in an ambulance.
The 10 minute watering before heat 5 was wasted as the track has now dried out again. Rymel just walked past the stands smiling to a loud applause.
Shadders says the track is dry, racing is poor and entertainment is zero.

Great start from Wright. Silver put him under early pressure, then Bowen threw everything at him without success.

Comments: Priest spun and fell bend 2 lap 2 when, remounted and then fell again in the same place. This time, he is excluded. Rerun without Priest. Rockets were on a 5-1, but Compton was pressuring Ksiezak for 2nd place.
In the rerun, Bowen replaces Ksiezak who is feeling unwell. (Texter says its probably dust related breathing difficulties )

Comments: Andrew Silver comes in as RR.
At last a race! Doolan was half a bike ahead of Mear for the entire race before Mear cut inside to take it by a wheel on the line. Silver wasn't far behind.

Comments: Graversen replaces Rymel. Charles Wright goes as a Tac ride.
Sundstrom went through the 3rd bend fence as Bowen was rounding Wright lap 1. Sundstrom up on his feet but excluded from the re run.
In the re run, Bowen went round them on bend 2. Wright was allowed through bend 3 lap 2, but was miles behind Bowen.

Comments: Luke Priest replaces Adrian Rymel.
Compton made a fantastic start and held on despite pressure from Sundstrom....... until the Swede swooped round bend 4 to take it on the line. Priest gave up early on.

Comments: Ksiezak on Neaths bike as he has wrecked one bike and blew the engine in his other.
Graversen shunted Ksiezak into 1st bend fence and is excluded from the re run.
In the rerun, Bowen found some grip trying an outside pass on bend 4 lap 3 and fell whilst 3rd. Bike went through the fence, but Bowen had jumped off before. Race awarded.

Comments: Comets won the toss and took gates 2 & 4.
Wright fell bend 3 lap 1 and lodged under the fence when last. Up ok but excluded from the rerun. Doolan gets another chance as he was in 3rd place at the time.
Rerun was from the gate. Doolan had a wobble bend 3 lap 2 trying to get round Mear and lost a lot of ground.
