"Nobody is getting near Charlie tonight" were the first words B4E said after this heat. He won pretty comfortably. Robson and Stichauer were wheel to wheel going down the back straight on the first lap until Robbo took charge on the 3rd bend and pulled away

Newman fell on the first bend and the race will be re run with all4back. Bandits had got away on a 5-1
In the re run it was from the gate with Kozza almost clipping the home straight fence coming out of the last bend
