Comments: Lambert gated but was third by the end of lap 1, Poole then got along side Roynon entering bend 3 lap 2 but Roynon rode the wide line to keep ahead. Good start to the meeting.

Comments: Stopped. Heat 5 to be re-run without Tully who fell first bend, looked like classic first bend bunching to me. Very harsh exclusion, Tully on the phone to the ref (Barbara Horley)
Re-run Tremendous race, Poole from the gate but Eklof nearly got under him entering lap 2 and then made it stick entering lap 3, Poole had a go back but went too wide.

Comments: Hectic first lap with everyone queuing up behind Mills entering lap 3, Roynon had loads of speed and looked likely to round them all but locked up and dropped back.

Comments: Brundle gated but Davies had the better run off bend 2 and cleared off. The other three then knocked lumps out of each other on every bend for the rest of the race but nobody could make a pass stick and thats how they stayed. Cracking race.

Comments: Mills gated with ~Poole shoved wide on first bend, Summers drove under Mills entering lap 2 to take the lead with Poole following suit a lap later. Entering the last lap Brundle got too close to Mills and they locked together, thankfully coming to a swift half before hitting the fence. Both up and ok.
