Heat Results
Tigers win the toss and go off gates 1 & 3 in heat 1.
Heat 01: Barker, Kurtz, Mills, Screen 51.09; 5-1
Line Up: Barker, Kurtz, Screen, Mills
Comments: Screen gated like a scalded cat and led for the first lap but entering turns 1&2 of lap 2 he pulled wide as if he had a problem with his bike, the other 3 went past only for Screen to get going again but only to finish a distant last. Barker had missed the gate but worked his way through to win. Craneman thinks if Screen gates like that all night he will be tough to beat.

Heat 02: (Re-runx2): Glanz, Franchetti, Campton, O'Malley 52.65; 5-1, 10-2
Line Up: Glanz, Franchetti, Campton, O'Malley
Comments: Campton down on bend 2 on his own, all 4 back for re-run. Glanz had gated. Re-run: Campton touches the tapes and will go off 15 metres. Re-runx2: Campton looked quite good but no catching the Devils pair. O'Malley looked poor.

Heat 03: Fisher, Grajczonek, Sitera, Holder 52.00; 3-3, 13-5
Line Up: Fisher, Holder, Sitera, Grajczonek
Comments: Josh made a good gate and Sitera joined him initially but Fisher flew round the lot of them on bend 2 to win by a postcode and looked fast. The Tigers pair then rode a good race to keep Holder back who was pressing Sitera throughout.

Heat 04: Grieves, Gathercole, Franchetti, O'Malley 52.22; 3-3, 16-8
Line Up: Gathercole, Franchetti, Grieves, O'Malley
Comments: Grieves gated brilliantly and looked mightily impressive. Gathercole close on the first couple of bends but after that there was no catching Grievesy. O'Malley still struggling and looks no threat.

Heat 05: Screen, Fisher, Holder, Mills(f/rem) 51.22; 3-3, 19-11
Line Up: Fisher, Holder, Screen, Mills
Comments: Screen brilliant from the gate again with Fish right behind him. Screen though always looked fast enough and held Fisher off well. Mills fell and re-mounted.
Sponsored by Splod
Heat 06: Barker, Grieves, Kurtz, Campton 51.47; 4-2, 23-13
Line Up: Barker, Kurtz, Grieves, Campton
Comments: Grieves and Barker from the tapes. Barker got the better of Grieves on bends 1&2 to lead down the back straight but Grieves kept him up to his work for most of the race and didn't lose much ground in the process. Kurtz not troubled in 3rd.
Sponsored by
Heat 07: Gathercole, Grajczonek, Sitera, Glanz 51.78; 3-3, 26-16
Line Up: Gathercole, Glanz, Sitera, Grajczonek
Comments: Brilliant gate by Gathercole with his partner right behind him. Josh though split the Devils pair superbly on the back straight of the opening lap. It stayed that way until Fil produced the move of the match so far. He showed Glanz the wide line entering bends 1&2 on the final lap before throwing him the dummy to cut back brilliantly up the inside to take 3rd down the back straight.

Heat 08: Kurtz, Mills, Campton, Franchetti 51.94; 3-3, 29-19
Line Up: Kurtz, Franchetti, Mills,O'Malley Campton
Comments: Campton replaces O'Malley for the Tigers. Kurtz gated and gone! Franchetti tried to get round the Tigers pair on bend 4 lap 1 but nearly put himself through the fence and lost touch after that. Mills not looking that confident and doesn't look to fast but he and Campton were comfy in the minor places.

Heat 09: Grieves, Fisher, Holder, O'Malley 52.09; 3-3, 32-22
Line Up: Fisher, Holder, Grieves,Campton O'Malley
Comments: O'Malley replaces Campton for Glasgow. Grieves gated again and rode a faultless race. Fish trying everything to pass but Grieves just didn't make a mistake.

Heat 10: Grajczonek, Barker, Kurtz, Sitera(fell) 52.07; 3-3, 35-25
Line Up: Barker, Kurtz, Sitera, Grajczonek
Comments: Josh gated with Barker on the outside of him. Grajczonek took Barker so wide he was just about able to get a burger from the van on bend 2. It was clever from Grajczonek who managed to make Barker shut off enough to open up a lead. Barker chased and tried everything but couldn't get close enough to pass Grajczonek who was fast.

Heat 11: Screen, Gathercole, Mills, Glanz 52.21; 2-4, 37-29
Line Up: Gathercole, Glanz, Screen, Mills
Comments: Glanz on Kurtz's bike after his bike packed up on the way to the start line. Screen won with ease despite Cory's best efforts. Glanz had a real go at the back but Mills didn't make a mistake to allow him through.
Sponsored by
Heat 12: Fisher, Campton, Sitera, Franchetti 52.03; 3-3, 40-32
Line Up: Fisher, Franchetti, Sitera, Campton
Comments: From the gate for the Fish. Sitera close early on but never a threat. Campton improved as the race went on, Franchetti looked awful at the back and never really tried to make a move.

Heat 13: Barker, Screen, Gathercole, Grieves 51.19; 4-2, 44-34
Line Up: Barker, Gathercole, Screen, Grieves
Comments: What a race!! race of the night by a mile! Barker and Screen neck and neck into turn 1 but Screen flys around the outside of the Devils skipper to lead where he stayed for 2 laps despite Barkers efforts. Then entering turn 1 lap 3 Barker charged up the inside of Screen and how he stayed on the bike is beyond Craneman. The crowd went mental and after which Screen couldn't get back on terms. Meanwhile Gathercole had a front row seat of the action as he was right behind and close to Screen by the end. Grieves nowhere!

Heat 14: Grajczonek, Holder, Glanz, O'Malley 52.19; 3-3, 47-37
Line Up: Holder, Glanz, Grajczonek, O'Malley
Comments: Grajczonek impressive again but Holder rode a good race and kept him up to his work and has deserved more for his efforts tonight.
Sponsored by Splod [/b]
Heat 15: Barker, Fisher, Grajczonek, Screen(fell) 51.87; 5-1, 52-38
Line-up: Fisher, Barker, Grajczonek, Screen
Comments: Devils off 1&3. All 4 gated in a line but Fisher just drifted a touch to squeeze Grajczonek whilst Barker did the same to Screen. Barker, Screen and Fisher then had a battle into the 3rd and 4th bends before Screen, who looked to be carrying too much speed into turn 1 lap 2, tried to go around Barker only to come to grief and fall. He was up quickly to get his bike off the track but that was that.

Comments:
***Updates will be in basic form tonight of finishing order and times, obviously if someone falls I will be informed. However every track grade (4 races) Craneman will be calling through the incidents from the previous 4 races so the info will be a little bit retrospective.***
Basically Craneman can't text for toffee (I can say that, he's my step dad) so will phone me during the breaks to fill me in on the info of the previous races.
Teams confirmed.
Track has been heavily watered and is slick as normal with the bends roughed up nicely. Weather is dry and the sun has even popped out to say hello. Crowd filling up nicely.
A minute silence for Lee Richardson precedes the meeting which is served impeccably

Thanks to Craneman for the texts and calls and to everyone for looking in, good night folks.
