Heat 01: Barker, Grajczonek, Bunyan, Hawkins (f-rem) (56.6 - New Track Record) 3-3
Line Up: Barker, Hawkins, Grajczonek, Bunyan
Comments: From gate Witcehs briefly on 5-1, JG went past RH going into b3, l1. JB passed RH going into b1, l2. RH then spun and went down, but got up and carried on. Barker at last wins heat 1, and in a eew track record too boot!

Heat 02: Ellis, Heeps, Lykke, Lambert (58.3) 5-1, 8-4
Line Up: Ellis, Heeps, Lykke, Lambert
Comments: Ellis made superb gate and was gone. Heeps shuffled to the back, but got past lambert coming off b4, l1. CH then stalked KL for 3 laps and got him on the line after KL seemed to shut off early on the run-in.

Heat 03: Risager, Mellgren, Nelson, Tungate (58.6) 3-3, 11-7
Line Up: Tungate, Risager, Mellgren, Nelson
Comments: all four gated quite equally, with MR the best of the bunch. TN switched to inside, RT got pushed wideon turns 1&2 by AM and went to the back. Spent a couple of laps trying to catch TN but couldn't make much ground. TN seemed to be more interested in racing his teammate for 2nd! (Lovey: perhaps Uncle Len ain't paying the BPs...).

*** Group of three guys behind Jules moaning there was no speedway at Foxhall last week abd how CL is a disgrace for not putting soemthing on as it was a "lovely summer's evening". Forgetting of course that it lashed down a weeke ago! Maybe Jules has found AlJackal and his friends! ***
*** Proboards has a major wobble -sorry folks ***
Heat 05: Tungate, Bunyan, Grajczonek, Risager (57.9) 3-3 17-13
Line Up: Tungate, Risager, Grajczonek, Bunyan
Comments: Drama at start as Tungate's bike packs up and had to swap bikes. Barker to the rescue, running out to take Tungate's bike away while he gets sorted on his second machine.
RT's bike switch worked a treat as he flew from the gate and was gone. MR shuffled out to the fence as JB & JG went by. JB & JG then spent next three laps trying to pass each otjher - seems Uncle Len doesn't pat the BP money ...

Heat 06: (Rerun)Barker, Mellgren, Lykke Hawkins (FX) 3-3 58.8 20-16
Line Up: Barker, Hawkins, R/R - Mellgren, Lykke
Comments: Mellgren takes the R/R.
Stopped, unsatisfactory start - no idea why pulled back, seemed OK to Jules.
Stopped again - Hawkins down and stuck under the airfence. High speed off at end of back straight lap one. Barker had gated into lead, Hawkins had pssed Lykke and looking to pass Mellgren - thought about backijg out of move, but decided to go for it and just couldn't turn bike. Hawkins up and walking back. Airfence section being replaced. In the rerun, Barker from the gate and gone, not much else to say apart from Barker was so far ahead he pulled wheelies on the back straight of the last lap and the length of the home straight across the line.

Heat 07: Mellgren, Lanham, Nelson, Ellis 2-4 58.9 22-20
Line Up: Lanham, Ellis, Mellgren, Nelson

Heat 08: Heeps, Hawkins, Lykke, Bunyan 5-1 58.2 27-21
Line Up: Hawkins, Heeps, Bunyan,Lambert Lykke
Comments: Heeps made a brilliant start and was away, Lykke and Bunyan briefly 2nd and 3rd. Hawkins past Lykke on the back straight and then under Bunyan on turns 3/4 after Bunyan made a mistake and straightened up. Bunyan then spun and slid into the fence turn 1 of lap 2 and pulled onto the centre green.

Line Up: [ color=Red]Tungate[/color], Risager,Grajczonek R/R - , Lykke[/b]
Comments: Grajczonek with an electric gate, Lykke briefly into 2nd before the Witches went into formation past him on the back straight of lap 1. Risager chasing Grajczonek, trying to go wider and wider to build up speed but to no avail, Grajczonek was just too quick.

Heat 10: Mellgren, Barker, Heeps, Nelson 3-3 58.6 33-27
Line Up: Barker,Hawkins Heeps , Mellgren, Nelson
Comments: Rye gated on a 5-1 with Mellgren ahead of Nelson but Barker was straight past coming out of turn one with Heeps repeating the same move a lap later. Barker chasing Mellgren for the remaining 3 laps but there is not enough grip outside for him to generate speed.

Heat 11: Lanham, Bunyan, Ellis, Grajczonke (Eng) 4-2 59.7 37-29
Line Up: Lanham, Ellis, Grajczonek, Bunyan
Comments: Witches made terrible starts , both pulling wheelies, Grajzonek gone clear, Lanham into second and Bunyan third looking to pass, Lanham sees off the challenge and it stays that way until the start of lap 3 when Grajczonek's bike makes an expensive sounding pop on turn one, he pulls of the track and we turn a 2-4 into a 4-2

Heat 12: Tungate, Heeps, Lykke, Mellgren 5-1 58.7 42-30
Line Up: Tungate, Heeps, Mellgren, Lykke
Comments: Tungate away from the gate, rest were 3 abreast around turns 1 and 2 with Heeps the meat in the sandwich. He got the better drive out of the turn and was into 2nd. Lykke then got back underneath him on turns 3 and 4, Heeps stalked him for 2 laps before going around him on turn 4 and out dragging him on the run to the line....crowd on their feet, great stuff from Cameron.

After his engine let go in heat 11, Grajczonek went back to the pits, threw his helmet across the pit bay and punched his tool box - Jules doesn't think he was very happy!
Chris Louis was in the pits holding up his old kevlar and astride Heeps' bike...he may be doing a few laps after the meeting?
Heat 13: Barker, Lanham, Grajczonek, Nelson 5-1 59.8 47-31
Line Up: Barker, Lanham, Grajczonek, Nelson R/R -
Comments: Grajzconek touches the tapes and goes off 15m. Barker, Lanham and Nelson gated evenly. Barker took Nelson wide and Lanham switched to the inside, it was planned as the two Witches were talking on the line and no doubt decided to do that. Team rode Nelson out for the remainder of the race. Grajzonek caught up with Nelson on the last lap and went past him down the back straight, Nelson not happy to drop his point (and money no doubt).

Heat 14: Risager, Ellis, Nelson, Lambert 5-1 59.3 52-32
Line Up: Risager, Ellis, Nelson, Lambert
Comments: Witches gate and gone, all strung out. Not much to report other than Ellis seemed to be having problems stopping the bike from rolling at the tapes and was lucky not to creep into them.

Heat 15: Barker, Mellgren, Grajczonek, Heeps 3-3 59.5 55-35
Line-up: Barker, Heeps, Mellgren, Grajczonek
Comments: Line up - Gate 1 Mellgren, Gate 2 Barker, Gate 3 Grajczonek, Gate 4 Heeps. All even going round turns 1 and 2 with Barker getting the drive off the turn and leading going into turns 3/4 and never looked back from there. Heeps got shuffled out to the back in the first bend shuffle, Barker pulling wheelies across the line. First time ever we have had a meeting with every heat under 60 seconds...Chris Louis will be doing some laps after the meeting, maybe a Sky thing with a race between him and Tatum?
