Comments: IoW in 1&3. 21CH says brave move by Islanders to go straight in with Worrall as R/R.
And it pays off! Worrall best gate - locked up a bit turn 2, which allowed everyone a run at him but recovered to lead all the way. Isherwood briefly showed in 3rd coming b4 l1, but Perry able to sweep straight back around pits turn l2.

Comments: Morris all the way. Clegg endeared himself further with last to 2nd surge back straight annd b3/4 l1. All well spread out after that.

Line Up: Blackbird, Greaves, Worrall,Widman (Tapes) Stoneman
Comments: 1 min to go and Blackbird had bike problems, back to pits. Seconds to spare heads out to tapes, but bike not right. Ready for start and Blackbird sits up, but at that moment Widman hits tapes and is excluded! Very lucky indeed for Heathens. Stoneman replaces excluded Widman, and Blackbird will go on Starkes bike in the rerun.
Rerun: FTG, hopefully a confidence boosting ride for Greaves.

Comments: 2 for the price of 1: Johnson got an arm over Morris out of the start, allowing Perry a clear run. Morris quickly in hot pursuit and passes perry inside b2, l2. Clegg passes Johnson same lap.

Heat 06: Worrall, Starke, Isherwood, Widman, (57.55) 3-3, 20-16
Line Up: Starke, Isherwood, Worrall,Stoneman Widman
Comments: Reserve switch by IoW. Worrall always rides well here and has got the pace to match tonight - super start and comfortable winner. Largely uneventful until Starke does his best Stoneman impression with half a lap to go by losing his steel shoe. He had a day and a half to spare in 2nd place though, so cruised it no probs.

Comments: Blackbird on his own kit. Clean start by heathens duo, Johnson fell & remounted on first turn. Ritchings much nearer the pace this time, and close enough to have an eye out for a mistake. None were made though, so a timely 5-1 doubles the lead.

Comments: IoW reserve switch. Greaves excluded - made a flyer but spins it around and falls. Luckily in the scatter, everyone missed him. Riders OK. 21CH says Greaves is having the worst crisis of confidence he's ever seen

Rerun: Stonemand made super start to lead easily off turn 2. Isherwood steamed under him on the park turn and took off for the win. Stoneman then did a lovely job of holding up Ritchings for us, until the run to the line when Ritchings stole the extra tenner.

Comments: Starke a bike length clear in half a second! Isherwood shoved himself into 2nd coming off b2 and that was it until Darryl decided to clout the home straight fence crossing the line.

Comments: Stoneman excluded on 2 mins at gate as clutch cable breaks - Widman replaces. 21CH says: There's never a dull moment here, even at the start line

As he tried to cut back on Greenwood off b4, Perry has crossed the line with both wheels, and by a long way. White light was straight on but the dippy Flag Marshall didn't notice and didn't put out the Black Flag, so Perry & Greenwood raced on. Super race to the line, and no idea who crossed it first, but obviously irrelevant.

Comments: Stoneman tactical ride. Morris by an absolute mile. Greenwood and Johnson clashed elbows on the run to the first bend, but Dan shakes it off to round the visitors for a very easy 2nd.

Comments: What a race. Elbows out by all four I think. Heathens come off turn 2 on a 5-1. Starke allowed Blackbird around the outside and the boys set about team riding it out. Blackbird still having bike problems it seems and was slowing. Starke working overtime to hold Worrall at the back. Coming off turn 2 last lap Worrall goes for the big one and looked as though he'd go around both in one move. Starkey hit the afterburner down the back straight to lead it to the flag as Worrall and Blackbird battled over 2nd just behind him.
