I.o.W. won toss, and took 1&3 in ht 1. Ref is Ronnie Allan, weather is dark, oh it's terrible, cold, damp, makes your bones hurt.
Ht 1, D. Stoneman R/R in Blue, A. Baseby in Yellow.
Ht 1, A. Baseby Exc for 2 minutes, D. Phillips in as a replacement.
Ht 1, 1st Worrall, 2nd Nielsen, 3rd Stoneman, Phillips Ret, 70.2, 4-2, 4-2. From gate, Phillips ret from last.
Ht 2, 1st Phillips, 2nd Stoneman, 3rd Widman, 4th Rumsey, 72.6, 3-3, 7-5. From gate.
Ht 3, 1st Hopwood, 2rd Smart, 3rd Sarjeant, Baseby Ret, 70.3, 5-1, 12-6. From gate, Baseby ret from last.
Ht 4, 1st Perry, 2nd Halsey, 3rd Phillips, 4th Widman, 73.1, 3-3, 15-9. Great race, awful gate from I.o.W, Perry tried to big blast round outside, but went too wide and was stone last. Both I.o.W. riders tried to go around Phillips on 3rd/4th bend, but Widman on the inside impeded Perry, and it looked like a 5-1. But no, Perry chased Phillips and got him on bend 4, lap 3, and on the same bend a lap later, went past Halsey by a wheel on the line, brilliant stuff.

Ht 5, 1st Sarjeant, 2nd Hopwood, 3rd Nielsen, Smart FX, 72.5, 2-4, 17-13. Mildenhall gated, but Hopwood passed Sarjeant on 2nd bend, but was repassed on back straight. Smart overcooked it on 4th bend, and it looked like a 5-1 for the tigers, but Nielsen, under no pressure, had an interesting last bend, hit the fence and like Johnson last week, cartwheeled down the track. More luck than Brendan though, as he picked up his bike and pushed it over the line for 3rd.
Ht 6, C. Widman R/R in Blue.
Ht 6, 1st Worrall, 2nd Halsey, 3rd Widman, 4th Rumsey, 68.8, 4-2, 21-15. From gate,
Ht 7, 1st Perry, 2nd Sarjeant, 3rd Stoneman, 4th Baseby, 72.8, 4-2, 25-17. Perry around outside on 2nd bend for lead, Baseby keeping Stoneman honest, who kept Sarjena thonest in second.
Ht 8, L. Smart R/R in Red, D. Stoneman in Blue, S. Nielsen R/R in White.
Ht 8, Smart locked up on entry to 3rd bend, causing Phillips to do extremely well to lay it down and avoid him, and Smart was excluded from the re-run.
Ht 8, 1st Nielsen, 2nd Phillips, 3rd Stoneman, Smart X, 71.0, 1-5, 26-22. From gate.
Ht 9, 1st Hopwood, 2nd Smart, 3rd Halsey, 4th Rumsey, 71.9, 5-1, 31-23. From gate, although Halsey pushing Smart hard for third.

Ht 11, C. Widman in Blue, D. Halsey R/R in Yellow.
Ht 11, 1st Perry, 2nd Halsey, 3rd Nielsen, 4th Widman, 72.0, 3-3, 37-29. Perry trapped on inside and was third out of the 2nd bend, but passed the tigers in successive laps on 4th bend, joy to watch.

Ht 12, 1st Sarjeant, 2nd Phillips, 3rd Hopwood, Stoneman Ret, 72.6, 1-5, 38-34. Mildenhall gated, but Hopwood into second place on fisrt lap. Stoneman very wide on 4th bend, possible mechanical fault, as he retired on next bend, before Phillips rode around a tiring Hopwood on last lap.
Ht 13, 1st Nielsen, 2nd Perry, 3rd Worrall, Halsey Ret, 70.0, 3-3, 41-37. From gate, Halsey Ret from last.
Ht 14, Phillips fell off on outside, looked tight, all 4 back seems fair, rerun.
Ht 14, 1st Phillips, 2nd Baseby, 3rd Smart, 4th Stoneman, 73.9, 1-5, 42-42. From gate.
Ht 15, Red = Perry, Blue = Worrall, White = Nielsen, Yellow = Sarjeant, Mildenhall off 2&4.
Ht 15, 1st Worrall, 2nd Sarjeant, 3rd Perry, Nielsen Ret, 69.6, 4-2, 46-44. Worrall gated like a rocket to clear off and win, with Perry struggling at the back, pootling around, until Nielsen had bike troubles on 3rd bend, lap 4, and Perry snatched 3rd place. I.o.W. with 2 points to defend tomorrow night. See you all next year
