Comments: Rebels gated on a 5-1 but Garrity stormed round the outside of them to take the lead. Kurtz then flew round the outside of Garrity off the pits bend to lead, Aspgren followed through a lap later and they pulled away for an easy win.

Comments: Boxall went round the outside off turn 1 to take the lead. Allen made a slight mistake when challenging on the next bend and dropped back but then set off after Boxall again. He closed him down dramatically after 2 laps but never got really close enough to make a meaningful challenge.

Everyone was convinced that Aspgren won the race but it was called that Kurtz was the winner.
