The track has taken a lot of water over the last 24 hours, but looks perfect according to Statman
Tonights referee is Barbara Horley (I'm not gonna make my usual comment tonight )
No parade, so straight on with the action.
Wasps won the toss, taking 1 & 3
Heat 1: Phillips put Neath under pressure for the first 2 laps.
Heat 2: From the gate.
Heat 3: Nice team riding by Rebel pair, no idea why, Collins was w-a-a-a-y behind.
Heat 4: Parsons replaces Legg.
Heat 4: Easy for Cunningham. Wilkinson easily seen off by Barker.
Heat 5: Neath taking a t/r.
Heat 5: Nice outside pass by Neath on lap 1.
Heat 6: Legg replaces Parsons.
Heat 6: Phillips excluded 2 mins, Walker replaces him.
Heat 6: Walker pushed wide by Wilkinson on the first bend and couldn't get back on terms.
Heat 7: Newport pair made the gate. Cunningham passed Schramm on the second lap, but by then Collins was away.
Heat 8: Parsons replaces Legg.
Heat 8: From the gate.
Heat 9: Surprise, surprise...Legg for Parsons.
Heat 9: Good ride by Wikinson to hold off Kramer in the early stages.
Heat 10: Easy win for Zorro. Schramm made a real mess of the first turn.
Heat 11: Hard first bend by Neath. Walker was heading towards the M5!
Heat 12: Barker made the gate, Katt rides shotgun and that was that!
Heat 13: Cunningham missed the gate, passed Wilkinson at the end of lap 2.
Heat 14: Collins taking a t/r...Parsons eplaces Legg.
Heat 14: Collins made a total mess of the start and that was the tac blown!!

Newport take 1 & 3
Heat 15: Zorro passed neath on the 1st lap as if he was stood still. Katt passed Neath on the 3rd bend an Neath developed engine problems. Fourth home maximum for Zorro. The last rider to beat him at the Oak Tree Arena?......................SUPER ROSS BRADY
