Heat Results
Heat 01: Worrall, Greaves, Roynon, Extance 5-1
Line Up: Worrall, Greaves, Roynon,Chessell Extance
Comments: Off to a flyer, Chessell rolled onto the tapes and the other three then destroyed them, Chessell excluded and replaced by Adam Extance.
Re-Run: Worrall in a class of one and just 1/2 a second off the track record, at this time of the year that's good going. Greaves passed Roynon turns 3+4 on 1st lap, Roynon pushed hard to get back through. Both made mistakes but Greaves beat him by a length or two.

Heat 02: Phillips, Williamson, Extance, Widman 5-1, (10-2)
Line Up: Williamson, Phillips, Extance, Widman
Comments: Phillips made a lightning start must have been 10 metres clear by first turn. He won like Worrall in heat 1 in a class of one. Williamson comfortable second after a small mistake turn 1 and 2 lap to gave the Brummies a sniff... briefly.
Sponsored by MADDRUM5 www.youtube.com/user/MADDRUM5/videos
Heat 03: Lambert, Johnson, Clegg, Perry 1-5, (11-7)
Line Up: Clegg, Perry, Lambert, Johnson
Comments: Brummies made the best start and squeezed Clegg out, the Heathens pair spent most of the race getting in each others way, Super ride by Lambert again looking in a class of 1, cracking ride by Johnson who held on having been under pressure by both Heathens at one stage or another.

TEXTER HAS SET A PUB QUIZ QUESTION, WHO WERE THE LAST VISITING PAIR TO GET A 1-5 AGAINST CRADLEY?
Heat 04: Starke, Wilson, Widman, Phillips - Fell 3-3, (14-10)
Line Up: Starke, Phillips, Wilson, Widman
Comments: Wilson made a mess of turn 1 and fell all by himself, Phillips laid down his bike sharply to avoid crash. A4B. God knows how ref came to that decision. Wilson can't score in rerun as I've already excluded him in my programme
Re-Run: Wilson made the start, on turn 2 Phillips went inside and Starke on outside to briefly place heathens 1&2. Wilson went straight back round Phillips on turn 3. Phillips then fell turns 1&2 lap 2 but up and cleared the track
Sponsored by Friends of Edinburgh Speedway www.foes.info/
Heat 05: Roynon, Perry, Clegg, Chessell 3-3,(17-13)
Line Up: Clegg, Perry, Roynon, Chessell
Comments: Roynon all the way. Heathens gave chase but couldn't get anywhere near challenging, Chessell fell turn 3 lap 2 but got up to complete race.

Heat 06: Worrall, Wilson, Extance 3-3 (20-16) (Greaves - Fell / Excluded)
Line Up: Worrall, Greaves, Wilson, Extance
Comments: Stopped, Greaves span and fell middle of turns 1&2 (same place as Phillips) whilst on a paid win, Wilson did well to drop it. Bikes took a clout but both riders up and ok, Greaves excluded.
Re-Run: Worrall by the proverbial. .. I would back a rule where a home rider could 'declare" after a lap when that far ahead....save the tyre

Heat 07: Starke, Johnson, Lambert, Williamson 3-3 , (23-19)
Line Up: Starke, Williamson, Lambert, Johnson
Comments: Starkey sorted it all and checked out after the first lap. Lambert went wide on turn 2 which had opened the door then went extremely wide on turn 3/4 which saw him slip to the back briefly. Couple of good laps between Lambert and Williamson for 3rd before a mistake by Williamson saw him drop right out of contention. Credit Johnson who is getting his head down and learning to ride Monmore.

Heat 08: Chessell, Greaves, Widman, Phillips 2-4, (25-23)
Line Up: Greaves, Phillips, Chessell, Widman
Comments: Chessell led all the way after seeing fresh air on turn 2. Widman went round outside of Phillips on turn 4 lap 1. Brummies pair each dropped the Heathens rider who was trying to give chase. Good ride by the Brummies and ladies and gentlemen we have a meeting on our hands!

Heat 09: Clegg, Perry, Extance 5-1, (30-24) (Wilson - Fell / Excluded)
Line Up: Clegg, Perry, Wilson, Extance
Comments: Clegg moves a bit A4B
Re-Run: Stopped again Reason for stoppage is Wilson doing a painful looking 360 in the middle of turns 3&4 lap 1, Perry did wonders to miss him and JUST kept himself out of the fence, Before that Wilson had gated and Clegg finally (tonight) came to life. A first turn of the night by a mile to sweep across and squeeze through on turn 2. Wilson was up, then he was down, then up then down again and now walking away. Hopefully just winded and just taking time to shake it off. Wilson excluded.
Rerun x2: No mistakes by the home riders. I'll take this opportunity to give a quick word on Extance. He's looked safe and steady picking up points when the chances have come his way.

Heat 10: Worrall, Lambert, Johnson 3-3, (33-27) (Greaves - Fell)
Line Up: Worrall, Greaves, Lambert, Johnson
Comments: Greaves tied himself in 3 or 4 knots and fell first turn. Cleared track. Lambert made a super start but Worrall was ahead and setting sail by turn 2. Can't help but wonder how bad Nathan's injury is. He's still limping heavily after the crash at Brandon in the EL SF 1st Leg.
Sponsored by
Heat 11: Starke, Williamson, Chessell 5-1, (38-28) (Roynon - Retired)
Line Up: Starke, Williamson, Roynon, Chessell
Comments: The Heathens made a good jump and had a trouble free run. Same can't be said for the Brummies. Roynon tried to turn it hard on the inside turn 1 and it's still looking very sticky down there. He did extremely well not to high side it but he was put of her race there and then. He kept going but slowed going in towards lap 3. Turn 1 lap 3 Chessell slipped off and Roynon rolled around him and kept on rolling to try to ensure a point. Chessell remounted and got back in to third at they entered the last lap so Roynon then pulled out the race.
