Line Up: Worrall, Wright, Doolan, Jorgensen
Comments: Rebels gate on a 5-1 but Jorgensen quickly passed Wright. Worrall looked comfortable out front but left a gap big enough for a bus going into the first bend on lap 3 and as Jorgensen was on a Speedway bike, not a bus, it was an easy move to make to take the lead.

Heat 14: Starke, Jorgensen, Hall, Wright (Fell). (3-3)...53-31...58.63
Line Up: Wright, Starke, Jorgensen, Hall
Comments: Jorgensen from the tapes but Starke sweeps round the outside of him to take the lead off the pits bend. Jorgensen lifts slightly and Wright steams past into second as they down the homestraight entering lap 2. Wright carries too much speed into the bend and Jorgensen gets back into second. Wright fights back but Jorgensen just about holds him off. Wright fell on the final bend trying one last ditch effort to pass Jorgensen. Wright was quickly up afterwards.
