Heat Results
Heat 01: Fricke, Masters, Campton, Riordan
Line Up: Riordan, Masters, Campton, Fricke
Comments:Rerun - all a bit twitchy at the start. Fricke super from gate 4, zoomed round Masters in turns 1 and 2 and pulled away
Sponsored by www.jaybeadesigns.co.uk
Heat 02: Tungate, Sedgmen, McDonald, Pickering
Line Up: Tungate, Pickering, Sedgmen, McDonald
Comments: Super race, Tungate and Sedgmen like Siamese twins joined at the handlebars but Tungate just that bit too good when it mattered
Sponsored by MADDRUM5 www.youtube.com/user/MADDRUM5/videos
Heat 03: Grajczonek, Proctor, Stewart, Sproule fell / retired
Line Up: Sproule, Proctor, Stewart, Grajczonek
Comments: Proctor by Sproule lap 3. Sproule tried to get by again turn 1 lap 4, over cooked it, did a pirouette and fell off.

Heat 04: Holder, Kurtz, Morris, Waters.
Line Up: Waters, Holder, Kurtz, Morris
Comments: Morris sluggish away and got caught back in the field. Morris kept nibbling at Kurtz's back wheel but had a couple of little wobbles and couldn't make any impact
Sponsored by Friends of Edinburgh Speedway www.foes.info/
Heat 05: Tungate,Morris, Stewart, Riordan
Line Up: Morris, Riordan, Tungate, Stewart
Comments: Tungate by a mile. Morris took the best part of three laps to get by Stewart, Tungate will be hard to beat based on his first two heats
Sponsored by Splod
Heat 06: Sedgmen, Holder, Masters, Sproule
Line Up: Holder, Sproule, Masters, Sedgmen
Comments: Poor start by Masters and he was playing catch up all race
Sponsored by
Heat 07: Campton, Proctor, Waters, Pickering
Line Up: Proctor, Waters, Pickering, Campton
Comments: Campton super out of gate four very similar to Fricke earlier on.
Sponsored by
Heat 08: Rerun Fricke, Kurtz, McDonald, Grajczonek (Ex)
Line Up: Fricke, McDonald, Grajczonek, Kurtz
Comments: Fricke straight to the lead out of red but Grajczonek ran out of room, lost control and ended up in the fence. He is up and ok. Grajczonek excluded, could have gone either way, No contact (I think). Grajczonek came off in turn 2. Kurtz went every which way he could both inside and outside to try to find a way past Fricke. Fricke just rode a nice tidy line and was probably blissfully unaware how many lines Kurtz was trying

Tractor fans now in a euphoric bliss type mode
Heat 09: Kurtz, Sedgmen, Riordan, Proctor.
Line Up: Sedgmen, Kurtz, Riordan, Proctor
Comments: Hotly contested first couple of bends before Kurtz stamped his authority on the race. Proctor seemed out of sorts back in fourth and couldn't trouble Riordan
Sponsored by
Heat 10: Rerun Masters, Tungate, Grajczonek, Waters
Line Up: Grajczonek, Tungate, Waters, Masters
Comments: Stopped. Someone moved early. Looks like all four back. Tungate led early but got a bit wobbly and Masters didn't need a gold edged invitation and said thanks very much

Heat 11: Holder, Campton, Stewart, McDonald
Line Up: McDonald, Stewart, Campton, Holder
Comments: Strangely boring, the first boring one in eleven heats. What's happening guys ?
Sponsored by
Heat 12: Morris, Fricke, Pickering, Sproule
Line Up: Morris, Fricke, Sproule, Pickering
Comments: Fricke had looked unbeatable and Morris had been a trifle disappointing ....... until now. Good gate from Morris and zero Fricke could do about it

Quick spruce up for the track at the moment
Heat 13: Grajczonek, Pickering, Holder, Riordan
Line Up: Pickering, Grajczonek, Holder, Riordan
Comments: That's better Josh !!!! Holder must have been having a nap when tapes went up
Sponsored by Speedway Fiction www.speedwayfiction.co.uk
Heat 14: Masters, Morris, Proctor, McDonald
Line Up: Masters, Morris, McDonald, Proctor
Comments: Morris went really wide exiting turn 2 and Masters skipped a few bike lengths ahead. Morris nearly got to the back wheel of Masters but had left him self too much to do
Sponsored by Splod
Heat 15: Tungate, Campton, Kurtz, Sproule
Line-up: Kurtz, Campton, Sproule, Tungate
Comments: That will be the race of the season, Tungate gated third, stalked and passed Kurtz, then did the same to Campton on the last bend
Sponsored by Lakesidelive follow us on Twitter @lakesidelive
Heat 16: Rerun Fricke, Stewart, Waters, Sedgmen (F/Ex)
Line Up: Stewart, Sedgmen, Fricke, Waters
Comments: Stopped. Sedgmen just clipped the back straight fence, hung on but eventually came off. He's up but winded and unfortunately for him excluded. Rotten luck. Easy for Fricke but the entertainment went when Sedgmen came off.
More tractor circle work but just a quickie I think
Heat 17: Riordan, Sproule, Waters, McDonald fell remounted.
Line Up: Riordan, McDonald, Waters, Sproule
Comments: Nice win for the young man, tidy ride and never threatened
Heat 18: Masters, Kurtz, Stewart, Pickering
Line Up: Stewart, Masters, Pickering, Kurtz
Comments: Kurtz gave it everything to get near Masters but every time he got near he got a little untidy and dropped back a bit
Heat 19: Sedgmen, Campton, Morris, Grajczonek.
Line Up: Campton, Grajczonek, Morris, Sedgmen
Comments: Good battle between the top two for a couple of laps. Last two a bit disappointing to be honest
Heat 20: Tungate, Fricke, Proctor, Holder fell
Line Up: Tungate, Holder, Proctor, Fricke
Comments: Holder led early but Tungate dived up the inside cleanly and made it look easy. Fricke then did the same going into turn 3 on the last bend and Holder slid off. I didn't see any contact and Holder would have disappointed
A bit of track work while they figure out the gates and colours
It's been a really good meeting, lots of close and entertaining racing and no really bad falls so far.
B Final: Kurtz, Holder, Sedgmen, Campton
Line Up: Campton, Sedgmen, Kurtz, Holder
Comments: Campton ran wide exiting turn 2 on lap 1 but Kurtz somehow found a gap between Campton and the fence and got by. Kurtz must have had to breathe in as he went by. Campton must have had a problem and dropped back through the field.
A Final: Tungate, Masters, Fricke, Kurtz
Line Up: Fricke, Tungate, Masters, Kurtz
Comments: Hard to describe first two laps. Fricke and Tungate were side by side entering the back straight but somehow Masters threaded the eye of the needle and surged to the lead. Tungate wasn't done with yet and it seemed like Masters was standing still as Tungate found speed from somewhere. Super race
