Comments: 7:15: It is now raining quite hard at the track. Meeting will start promptly at 7:30pm.
7:17pm: Rain has now eased off, we'll be lucky if we don't get any more tonight.
Allen & Masters vying for lead down backstraight lap 1, Allen cuts back to inside of Masters and seems to lock up slightly which allowed Grajczonek into 2nd and that's how it stayed. Masters not happy with Allen and gives him some verbals and fist waving afterwards.

Comments: Wolbert led out oft apes and for first time tonight he actually looks interested in racing but it a short time lived movement if joy as Starke passes him on outside of bend 2 & Allen does same on outside bend 4, and they pull away for an easy 5-1. Clegg was about half hour behind others leaving the tapes & pulled into pits on last lap rather than finish race.

Comments: It was like the doors opening on first morning of a Harrods sale as all 4 riders headed for same square inch of track on bend 1 but it was Rebels duo who got there first & went on for an easy 5-1. Looked like Fisher had a puncture on last lap but he was well tailed off by then.

Comments: Masters from tapes but Tungate round him on bedn2 to take lead. Tungate then had to have eyes in back of his head in order to hold off Masters. M Riss fell bend 4 lap 2 when at back but to his credit got up & cleared track so race could continue.

Comments: Fisher appeared to run Starke into fence as Starke tried outside pass going down home straight but Starke came back at Fisher. Big crash going into bend 1 lap 4, Starke tried to cut back inside of Fisher and both riders go down. Race Awarded. Starke is up and ok but is excluded. Ambulance out for Fisher and he stood up to get into ambulance. Short delay while 2 fence panels are replaced and while paramedics check Fisher over. Fisher has an ankle injury, he taken himself to local hospital to get it checked over.
