Hey folks, what would be your 4 wild card choices for SGP 2017, and which riders do you think will actually get them?

Mine: Pedersen, Sayfutdinov, Zagar, Iversen. Don't think Hampel will get one because: 1) his absence from a single GP is quite long now; 2) I doubt there will be 5 Poles in it, since all of the current riders are looking good to be in top 8 and Patryk Dudek has won the GP Challenge. If Lindgren gets into top 8, Bjerre becomes a full GP rider because of finishing 4th in Challenge while Lindgren was 3rd, so that means that alongside Pedersen they will decide between Iversen or Kildemand. If Sayfutdinov rejects, then there are still 2 places that will go to, I think, either Hampel, Zagar, Jonsson/Lindback or Iversen/Kildemand

We need riders for the 2017 season that are good enough to win, as this is the best racing anywhere. I missed Nicki P. when he was not there so he would be my first pick.Just being in the field makes for a great atmosphere.Like him or not, unsafe but. Emil is not only fast but he could even win it first time back,so I am praying for the Russian do get a pick Two years ago I thought Niels K.Iversen was going to be really strong but faded,I think he should get a birth. Antonio Lindback has proven he has changed his life style and riding fast so would pick Antonio for sure. Other riders need to prove themselves on the Elite either Sweden Poland or England before getting a jumper. I see there are more poles that are worty but we do have enough I reckon. wow that was a lot of typing anyway there you go.

So, the season is over. Janowski out of top 8, Iversen and Lindback in. For the next season we are looking at 3 Poles, 2 Swedes and only 1 Dane. So Pedersen gets 1. So does Sayfutdinow if he still wants it. 3rd in the pecking order is probably Zagar. And the 4th wild card I think will go to Janowski/Jonsson/Hampel/Laguta/Smolinski/Kildemand. Would like to see Protasiewicz because of his fine form last 2 seasons but my call is Janowski or Jonsson

Can see Pedersen, Emil and Zagar but after that it comes down to a bit of a lottery due to Speedway politics as to how many riders they want in from certain countries.

Always has been politics so its probably Chris Harris Nah, I agree with your three though, haven't a clue who to pick for the fourth spot!
