Gates: Stoke win toss and take gates 1+3 in Heat 1.
Referee: Phil Griffin
Heat Results
Heat 01: Davey, Morley, Terry-Daley, Lawlor - Fell 4-2 65.0
Line Up: Davey, Terry-Daley, Morley, Lawlor
Comments: Lawlor half a lap behind fell bends 3 & 4 lap 3.
Sponsored by www.jaybeadesigns.co.uk/
Heat 02: Burnett, Dwyer, Rutherford, Alcock 3-3 (7-5) 69.0
Line Up: Burnett, Alcock, Dwyer, Rutherford
Comments: Alcock steady but off the pace. Rutherford so much all over the place that Alcock steady caught him and fell, remounted on the last bend. All struggling,. Race time 2 hours, 27 minutes, 14 seconds. Feels like we've gone past the curfew after that heat!
Sponsored by MADDRUM5 www.youtube.com/user/MADDRUM5/videos
Heat 03: Re-Run: Cockle, Atkin, Harris 2-4 (9-9) 68.1 (Wallinger - Fell / Excluded)
Line Up: Atkin, Wallinger, Cockle, Harris
Comments: Race Stopped. Wallinger the first to lose it and fell on bend 1. Lifted and had to bale out. Still a hefty landing. Track Grading, oh god, this delay for grading has just given the announcer more air time. Tractor's done more laps then the bikes, combined! Paramedic with Wallinger (he walked away so hopefully nothing to worry unduly about).
Re-Run: All trying but it's just a case of surviving 4 laps to honest. Atkin quicker then Cockle and Harris quicker than both but you can't race on this crap. Atkin two wheeling in for eg.

Heat 04: Priest, Rutherford, Perry, Alcock 3-3 (12-12) 65.5
Line Up: Priest, Alcock, Perry, Rutherford
Comments: Good ride by Priest all the way. Perry lost power bend 3. Turn out bike goes better with the fuel taps on. Lost half a lap to the middle two riders. Took half a lap to catch them. Went pas Alcock for 3rd with incredible speed difference. Then shut off and literally rolled around behind Rutherford. No idea how Rutherford stayed on. Alcock steady again and all over Rutherford until Perry steamed past him.

Heat 05: Re-Run: Morley, Atkin, Wallinger, Dwyer 3-3 (15-15) 65.0 (Lawlor - 2 Minutes / Excluded)
Line Up: Atkin, Wallinger, Morley,Lawlor- 2 Mins Dwyer
Comments: Lawlor excluded on 2 minutes, looks like his foot rest fell off at the tapes. Dwyer replaces in the re-run. Lawlor turned around to fade pits, waving his arm but sod all reaction for pur side of the pits.
Re-Run:
Sponsored by Splod
Heat 06: Davey, Terry-Daley, Rutherford, Perry - Engine Failure 5-1 (20-16) 64.4
Line Up: Davey, Terry-Daley, Perry,Dwyer Rutherford
Comments: Perry packed up going into bend 3, he was fuming about it. Good ride by Davey yes, but he was a straight clear of Terry-Daley who was half a straight of Rutherford who gave up completely last lap.

Heat 07: Re-Run: Burnett, Cockle, Priest 4-2 (24-18) (Harris - Fell / Excluded) 66.0
Line Up: Priest, Burnett, Cockle, Harris
Comments: It goes from bad to worse. Harris fell at the back going into bend 3. Couldn't get the bike up and stood there waiting for red light and help. Neither came and the riders were left to take the decision to stop racing themselves as they went into bend 3 lap 2 with Harris and his bike stood up by the fence. Red flags came out as the riders decided to stop. Utter farce. Officially the call is the referee stopped the race in the interests of safety (erm no he didn't), Harris is excluded from the re-run. This announcer is singularly the most annoying person I've ever had the misfortune to be in the vicinity of.
Re-Run: Burnett 30 yards clear and Priest can do nothing at the back tell you all you need to know. Not a pass worthy of the name and the announcer just said "speedway at its very best" without laughing.

Heat 08: Burnett, Terry-Daley, Dwyer, Lawlor 5-1 (29-19) 66.1
Line Up: Terry-Daley,Alcock Burnett, Lawlor, Rutherford Dwyer
Comments: Nothing happened. Some of these races are sponsored by St John's and a funeral director. The bloke even commentate on the pit marshall closing the gate.
Sponsored by
Heat 09: Perry, Atkin, Dwyer, Wallinger 2-4 (31-23) 64.3
Line Up: Atkin, Wallinger, Perry, Dwyer
Comments: Wallinger lifted violently bends 1 & 2 mid race which allowed Dwyer through. Did well to get it down and stay on. Then nearly hit bend 4 fence when straightened up. Did well again to stay on.
Sponsored by
Heat 10: Davey, Harris, Terry-Daley, Cockle - Fell 4-2 (35-25) 65.7
Line Up: Davey, Terry-Daley, Cockle, Harris
Comments: Cockle leading all the way until last bend when suddenly bike gets too much grip, straightens up and Cockle has to bale out or pile it in hard. Harris with a proper speedway move to pass Terry-Daley outside going into lap 2.
Sponsored by
Heat 11: Morley, Lawlor, Burnett, Priest 1-5 (36-30) 65.2
Line Up: Priest, Burnett, Morley, Lawlor
Comments: Well that happened lol Morley away for the lead. Lawlor went straight round the outside of both home riders on bends 1 & 2 and they could do nothing about it.
Sponsored by
Heat 12: Awarded: Atkin, Dwyer, Alcock, Cockle - Fell 4-2 (40-32)
Line Up: Atkin, Alcock, Cockle, Dwyer
Comments: Exactly the same as last time middle last bend. Went it very very hard this time. Front end of the bike from knackered. Young Alcock came around behind and couldn't avoid Cockle's bike. Heavy fall for him too. 5 mins and they're both up thankfully. Riders from both teams out looking at the track. Just been told paramedic with Alcock. He still ain't shut up for 5 minutes so i've tweeted Stoke and asked if I can put a request in for "Silence is Golden".

Heat 13: Morley, Perry, Priest, Davey 1-5 (41-37) 64.1
Line Up: Davey, Priest, Morley, Perry
Comments: Heathens away and stayed on so that's all she wrote. Speedway at it's very best!

Heat 14: Re-Run: Wallinger, Burnett, Harris - Fell / Remounted 5-1 (46-38) 65.5 (Dwyer - Fell / Excluded)
Line Up: Wallinger, Burnett, Harris,Rutherford Dwyer
Comments: Race Stopped. Dwyer tried to give it a handful bend 1 with the inevitable result, he fell and is excluded from the re-run.
Re-Run: Only proper race. Harris leading with Wallinger all over him. Backstraight last lap Wallinger outside Harris clipped Harris' arm from what I could see and unsettled him badly. Referee let it go and Harris had to drag the bike out from under the fence to push home for a point. Pit gate was opened before Harris completed the track and riders came out on track. Shouldn't happen. Just more utter shambles.

Heat 15: Re-Run: Perry, Morley, Davey, Priest 1-5 (47-43) 63.8
Line-up: Davey, Priest, Morley, Perry
Comments: Race Stopped. Davey rolled and all 4 back for the re-run.
Re-Run: Davey nipped inside Morley off bend 2 but made a small mistake on bend 3 and let Morley straight back through for 2nd. Apparently that was and I quote, "an absolutely fantastic meeting!! Yeah, okay pal! Congrats on the win Stoke. Appalling by us, so many points thrown away.
