Comments
Some dark clouds out and about but still sunny and warm so can't complain. Food is it's normal rubbish self! (Texter's Words) Track is its usual brown self quite a bit of grip all over the track, roller is on it now so looks in good nick, and the rain as done its good though.
Craig Saul, the most annoying commentator is back :@ (Texter's words)
Teams not confirmed as very quiet so far. No sign of a Mr Horton yet though. Ref is Mr Frank Ebdon. So should be a fun filled night.
Question from the Texter: He would like to know if dogs are allowed at Rye House? He might be going sat night.
Teams confirmed now. Frank Ebdon is lost, cant find his way to the ref box, bless! Lol (Texter's Words)
(Texters Words with regard to the food): "Food is awful, the meat is red! Salmonela Poisoning for me!"
A bit more than average crowd here tonight, which is good to see for once
The 2 minutes is on already
Note from the Texter: A few Oxford fans are with us!
Heat 01: Wolves gate on a 5-1, but Hans goes round the outside of howe and him and pk have a good race until pk hits grip and goes too wide on third lap, with hans cutting up inside. Lukas well at back
Heat 02: Easy win from gate. Hall should score well on this track imo (texter). Carl giving it everything, never seen a rider get so close to the ground, great to watch though
Heat 03: Easy win when past first bend. Swid gates and nki pushed hard by ken, hansen is quick though but went backwards. Hamill never on the pace though.
Heat 04: Good race. Wolves gate on a 5-1. Carl and Hall have a good battle when Hall goes round outside and chases lindgren all the way! Ken never looked like passing Carl. Carl is scary stuff round this place, sign him up! Entrance fee alone for it. Hall thinks he can make the final on Monday at British Final (Texter's Words)
Heat 05: Great heat. NKI gates but pk sling shots him off second bend and dives up the inside. great move! Both looking very quick. Howe and Swid have a great battle! Mick Horton is here!
Heat 06: Lindgren gates and him and hans have a superb battle for the lead. hans was trying inside and outside and finally got past on third lap going round outside. Lukas tried but not quick enough. Magnus way at back!
Heat 07: From gate for Kenneth. King went to the fence to get past hamill and hansen, great pass. Billy went backwards then gave up or had e/f! Hansen is looking superb to be fair to him, good action and very quick. Another lap and he would of got past.
(Texter's Words): "Best meeting of the season IMO"
Heat 08: To be re-run as hall was moving. Red lights came on after Lap 1!
Heat 08 Re-run: Howe gates this time around and always leading. Carl gates well and is passed round the outside by hall lap 2 and then Lukas on the inside, lap 3. Hall nearly fell third lap, that's how much he was trying? Good battles all around though.
Heat 09: Great gates by panthers and team ride for 2 laps. Fred tries very hard to get past Swid but cant. (Texter's Words) - "BP is now on the cards!"
Heat 10: Great gate by Lukas, Hamill cuts Hans up and Hans has to shut off. But only lasted a lap and the dane gave him the same a lap later! Way too easy from there!
Note from Texter: "Think its pretty obvious PK will be on a tac ride next heat but interval now but im expecting it!
(Texter's Words): Track is being heavily graded now with the wheel. My prediction looking at it, wolves at best will finish on 36. So BP should be ours for the taking. Will be disappointed not to win that now! Track Staff are coming back out now.
Heat 11: PK on a tactical ride. Theres a shock - Bjerre gates and hits a rut on first bend but PK hits the same one but Bjerre flies round the outside. PK lined him up for 2 laps and cut up the inside of him and never looked back.
Heat 12: Wilkinson as a reserve replacement for Magnus. NKI gates and goes but Hamill finally wakes up and passes him up the inside third bend first lap but NKI winds it on and flies round outside. Hall tries but not alot left on the track now.
Heat 13: Good race. Hans gates but pk does that cut back once again! PK is so quick. Ken then struggled to hold onto third. (Texter's words) - IMO, Fred got him on the line but there you go.
Heat 14: Two changes. Hall for King and Magnus for Wilkinson. What a race! Swid flies round the outside and cant get any closer to the fence! Panthers on a max but hansen finds the grip and goes around hall on the last lap and it's a race line to the line. Hansen gets it!
(Texter's View): "Hansen is my rider of the night, Wolves have a corker of a rider here! The scores are all level now for the BP!
(Another view regarding Heat 15:) "Should be a stunner and without doubt meeting of the season. Can't beat this, great weather, great riding, all action, just great!
Heat 15: WOW! PK and Lindgren gate and Panthers chased hard, nki chased and got past Lindgren, then hans tried to pass but couldn't find a way past. NKI hits grip last bend and lets Lindgren through. Hans had words with NKI as he kept on getting in hans way.
The Texter would like to pass his thanks to everyone who tuned in to these tonight.
Well, I have enjoyed myself tonight - it has been a great evening and thankyou to you all for company.
AND a special mention to Panthersman as well for the outstanding and very detailed texts - thanks mate
