Comments: Grajczonek comes off worse in a tight opening bend and drops to the back. He got up the inside of Campton going into bend 3 lap 2. Campton sild off as Grajczonek went by. Campton cleared the track and the race went on. Easy win for Lawson who was well clear of Kurtz.

Heat 02: Re-Run X2: Wood, Graversen 0-5 (3-8) (Agg: 34-67) 59.52 (Sarjeant - Fell / Excluded, Bowtell - Excluded)
Line Up: Sarjeant, Bowtell, Graversen, Wood
Comments: Race Stopped. Sarjeant got up the inside of Graversen leaving bend 2 lap 1. Bowtell then goes inside Graversen going into bend 3 lap 1. Bowtell is a bit out of control going round bends 3 & 4 locking up. Graversen comes off trying to avoid him. Red lights on straight away. Bowtell is excluded from the re-run.
Re-Run: Race Stopped again. Sarjeant down bend 1 lap 1. Sarjeant is excluded from the re-run.
Re-Run X2: Not much to say about that one! No drama's for the Sheffield boys!

Line Up: Worrall, R/R - Summers, Bjerre, Bates
Comments: Summers chopped up the inside of opening bends to join Worrall at the front leaving bend 2 lap 1. Glasgow on a comfortable 5-1 thereafter. Bates took a spectacular fall going into bend 3 lap 2 when last. He flew over his handlebars, possible having had some form of mechanical failure. Medics attending to Bates, who is talking to them at the moment. Race Awarded. Bares going into the ambulance just now so looks like there may be a fair delay.
Bates withdrawn. A 2nd ambulance is coming for him but racing will resume in the meantime. His trip to hospital is going to be precautionary as much as anything. Bates has now withdrawn from the rest of the meeting.

Comments: Summers tried to go round Howarth on the opening bends but didn't quite make it. Howarth comfortable out front thereafter. Wood well clear of Bowtell and has looked very good for what I think is his first time here.

Comments: Race Stopped. Grajczonek gated and led going into bend 3 lap 1. He took a nasty looking fall. Grajczonek excluded and medics attending to him on track. Grajczonek is now up and making his way back to the pits. Track Grading taking place before re-run. Grajczonek has withdrawn from the meeting described as being "by and large fine" but medics have advised him not to race again tonight.
Re-Run: Unsatisfactory start, Sarjeant moved and warned to stay still! All 3 back for the re-run.
Re-Run X2: Worrall nips up the inside of Kurtz leaving bend 2 to join Sarjeant at the front. Kurtz never close to Worrall.

Comments: Bowtell with a great blast round the outside of the opening bends to snatch lead Summers went round Bjerre & Bowtell bends 3 & 4 lap 2 to take the led. Bjerre then round Bowtell bends 3 & 4 lap 3. Great effort by Bowtell. Wood fell bend 2 lap 2 when last.

Comments: Sarjeant with an absolutely start cracking start to hit the floor. Campton held up to n2d until the home straight lap 3 when Graversen went round him. Convincing win for Sarjeant.
