Comments: Race stopped: Sarjeant did a 360 degree spin on bend 2 lap 1, Wilkinson laid his bike down to avoid him. Both are up and okay. Sarjeant is excluded from the rerun.
Re-Run: Thomas fell bend 3 lap 4 when third. He was down for about 60 seconds then got help to restart the bike so was excluded for receiving outside assistance. Race was otherwise from the gate.

Comments: Fantastic team riding from Summers to cover Sarjeant for all 4 laps. Very close at the finish, a bike length splitting the front 3. Lindgren runs into the back of Sarjeant 30 yards after the finish. When Sarjeant comes back round there is a bit of a scuffle between Lindgren and Sarjeant.

Lindgren with a determined move rounds the lot of them on the first two bends. Race was otherwise from the gate, the riders were all close but nobody looked like passing.

Comments: Harris was squeezed out of it on the first turn, he then charged under Robson and Starke down the back straight lap 1 but goes in too hard into bend 3 and Robson passes him on the inside. Harris pushes him for the rest of the race.
