Comments:
Decent looking crowd, havent seen Leigh yet.
Jonathan Green and Kelvin Tatum about to talk tripe.
Weather looks awesome, Track looks really good.
Carl Stonehewer is one of the commentators tonight, jeez i hope hes got Nigel Pearson with him and NOT Tony 'Nana Moon' Millard.
Yep it is Nigel Pearson
Isle of wight are in gates 1 -3 for heat 1.
Heat 1: Holder missed the start, Gathercole retired lap 2.
Holder all over Topinka in the last 2 laps
Carl Stonehewer is related to Millard it seems, he hasnt a clue whats hes talking bout either. didnt know Chris Mills was in heat 2.
Heat 2: Race was awarded Brundle took a fall into the safety fence, hes excluded. in the race itself Brundle actually moved at the start, and it really screwed up his heat.
Heat 3: From the gate, Nermark put Stojanowski under pressure for 2 laps
Heat 4: Suchanek in for Brundle
Islanders gated on a 5-1 but an awesome pass by Lee on Johnson at end of lap 1
Now i like Carl Stonehewer, but ill make this clear, as a commentator he is crap, would be better off employing The Great Khali from the WWE Wrestling to partner Pearson, even he would make more sense .
Heat 5: Really good race, Bunyan was 3rd for 2 laps then flew past Mills on the outside on the home straight end of lap 2, then he got very very close to Topinka at the end
Sky Should show more Prem Meetings so much more interesting than Elite.
Heat 6: 5-1 from the tapes.
Good to hear Matt Read is in attendance tonight.
Ripper Ray Morton is there as well
Heat 7: Phillips off crappy gate 2, missed the start but did the cut back and blasted into 2nd, Harding was long gone in front, Nermark than passed Phillips on bend 3 lap 1. Good race, with a good bit of team riding.
Crappy Sky world cup advert now, with Lindback and that english bloke, spraying a wall, i hope they all got arrested and the rubber glove treatment.
Surely the world cup wont be as good as last Season that Polish track is no way near as good as Readings Track
Heat 8: Gathercole went so wide on bend 1 at the start, he nearly ended up in Portsmouth, and he had so much speed, he flew into the lead, and won quite easily.
Heat 9: Bunyan did a Gathercole, so much dirt outwide, front 2 so clear at the end.
Bunyans girlfriend is his mechanic, and is pretty hot, lucky Bunny not sure i would want my partner working on my bikes.
Heat 10: Race stopped, Holder jumped the start, and ended up at the back, but strangly ref stopped it.
In fact Holder is excluded for touching the tapes, it was minimal, if sky wasnt there, Ref would put all 4 back.
Holder is still at the tapes, i dont think he realizes, hes been excluded, Holder is now going off 15 metres.
Re-run: Cory was holding Holder up, so Holder went under him and Cory hit the fence, then Holder chased down Harding, and then fell on lap 4, all action race that one.
Both Islanders excluded for crashing.
Holder being attended to now.
For ppl who are reading these comments and not watching the meeting, Holder DID NOT take Cory off on purpose, its just he was carrying so much speed, and couldnt do anything.
Cory is ok tho, but Holder is still being looked at, looked like he hit his head pretty hard on the ground.
Sky Cardiff advert, as Shane says its Backside Trackside Yeah sure it is mate.
nice to hear Dave Pavitt, say he pays his riders every week.
You hear that Colin Horton, if u had done that maybe Oxford wouldnt be missing the rest of the Elite league Season
Heat 11: From the gate.
Its now Official Stoney is worse than Millard . Never thought it possible, but its a fact.
Heat 12: Bunyan super wide again, but this time it didnt work, as Nermark took the lead.
Chris Holder is now been ruled out the rest of the meeting. IOW have big problems now.
Holder sat in the pits with Gathercole sharing a joke, im sure its just a precaution hes been withdrawn, hopefully he will be ok, for tomorrow
Heat 13: Johnson in for Holder
Stars gated on a 5-1 but Phillips passed Lee on bend 2 lap 1, really good battle between first 3.
Heat 14: Suchanek in for Brundle who has also withdrawn.
Good riding by Bargh, Stojanowski looks slow..
Carl Stonehewer performing that 80s cult single The Stutter Rap
Heat 15: Glen Phillips, Jason Bunyan V Tomas Topinka, Daniel Nermark
Islanders take 1-3
Quick Reminder August 23rd Garry Steads Benefit Meeting, i advise as many ppl as possible, make the trip if u can, i will certainly be travelling from Reading
Heat 15: Stars gated on a 5-1 Bunyan blasted past Topinka at the end of lap 1.
Enjoyable meeting tonight, Best Wishes to Chris and James, and thanks for viewing. til next time Sue flashes, i mean flutters at me, its goodnight.
