Comments: Tight first bend, Bates locked-up and flipped over - excluded - up and walking back to the pits.
Rerun: Great start by Wolves pair. Becker almost squeezed out Howarth on back straight L1, but then held inside line and allowed Howarth round the outside - good work to be aware of his partner. Lawson not even close.

Comments: Heeps as reserve in place of Bellego. King solid from the start. Heeps had to work hard to pass Morris, and didn't look close to Schlein, but used the outside line to great effect and got outside Schlein on back straight last lap, holding the last two bends really well to snatch second. Schlein looked a bit surprised - the twits didn't even notice, and called him Bellego throughout the race!
