Comments: Both Lions made good starts and was 5-1 up after the first lap. Proctor went wide on the second lap which allowed Wright to nip in on the inside to take second

Heat 02: Greaves, Mountain, Lawlor, Woolley (Exc) 3-3 7-5 64.43
Line Up: Lawlor, Mountain, Woolley, Greaves
Comments: This heat had to be re run as Woolley collected/took out Mountain just after the fourth bend on the first lap. The ref excluded Woolley for causing the accident. When the heat was run, Greaves made the better start of the three riders and the others followed without challenge

Comments: Douglas made the gate but Riss took the lead on the back straight of the first lap. It looked on a few laps like Riss was out of shape on the fourth bend but managed to get it back. Track Grading.

Comments: Wow, Riss was moving on the line but the ref didn't call them back! Nicholls soon took the end then it was up to Proctor to step up. He did on the back straight on the last lap he nicely snook on the inside to make it a 5-1 at the finish

Comments: Proctor was well ahead after the first two bends. On the second lap Greaves made a mistake and almost took out Mountain but luckily for the Lions rider he managed to get past him without incident.
