Comments:
Teams confirmed. 12 Changes in the programme. Berwick win the toss and take gates 1&3.
Heat 01: From the gate with the Stoke pair miles ahead.
Heat 02: Evans fell on 1st turn and again on 3rd turn of first lap. It's like watching Bambi on ice. Excluded from re-run. In the re-run, from the gate. Track looks like Telford ice rink.
Heat 03: Evans R/R for Stoke and Bugera R/R for Berwick. Evans and Bugera bouncing off the fence for 3 laps. Kerr shed a chain on lap 3.
Heat 04: Stoke on a 5-1 until Smith engine went on second lap. Rempala coasted the last 2 laps.
Heat 05: Complin R/R for Stoke. Leverington passed the Stoke pair coming out of the second bend. Complin passed him on the fourth bend and Cunningham passes him on the second lap. Rumours are that Torville and Dean will be the interval entertainment, it's like Ice Speedway without the spikes (Texters Comments).
Heat 06: Rempala made a flying start but fell on the second bend. Took a long time to clear the track.
Heat 07: Leverington R/R for Berwick. Evans passes Leverington on turns 3&4 of third lap when Trent pulled a big locker.
Heat 08: From the gate. Barker shephered Smith home. Bugeja squeezed out by Bethell which led to his fall on second lap.
Heat 09: Vissing R/R for Stoke. Potters on a 5-1 whilst Rempala coasting at the back. Vissing fell on third lap whilst leading. Texter unsure why he fell but is up and ok. In the rerun Rempala gated and looked interested until Cunningham passed him.
Heat 10: Rempala R/R for Berwick and also on a Tactical Ride. Texter says Berwick manager must be p**sed to put him on a T/R against Complin and Barker. Barker fell on first turn and after remounting was almost a lap behind. Barker finished just a few yards behind Rempala who coasted to 2 points.
Heat 11: Vissing rolling at the start. All 4 back. Leverington and Evans had a ding-dong battle for all 4 laps.
Heat 12: Kerr R/R for Berwick. Smith gated. Kerr and Cunningham had an interesting battle for a couple of laps.
INTERVAL - Texter says Torville and Dean were OK...nothing special though.
Heat 13: Complin from the gate. Vissing Passed the Bandits pair on first lap. Rempala coasting again,...he must be fined for this?
Heat 14: Barker R/R and Smith replaces Evans for Stoke. From the gate.
Heat 15: Bandits win toss and take 1&3. Vissing gated and Complin passed Leverington on first lap. Rempala coasted round the last 2 laps.
