Spills of the night were -
Heat 2 Matthew Wethers and Ben Wilson came together in turns 1 & 2 which saw Ben Wilson retire from the night unhurt but with bent bike however Matthew Wethers was taken to hospital after being knocked out for about 30 seconds. X-Rays revealed no broken bones but a badly bruised shoulder. He was released from hospital last night.
Stoneham went down in heat 10 and collided with the fence. He too was taken to hospital and last account he seemed to have a bad case of concussion. Nothing else known at this stage
2nd semi final saw the race of the night between Arlo Bugeja and Robert Ksiezak with Bugeja pushing Ksiezak very had for the entire race. Unfortunately Bugeja picked up drive coming out of turn 4 whilst leading Ksiezak in a run to the line and collided with the fence. He had a headache at the end of the night and a couple of bruises but otherwise unhurt.
Fastest time of the night went to Tom Hedley.
